i hope u read my answer to him, maby u try it with other warlock who plays affliction. u will notice it urself. cause am having this problem aswell but its only when i play with other affliction lock. cause when i play alone i make a good dps. else not @ all
hope to hear feedbakcs if any trying it

I stick with destruction simply because it's the best coded, and it does great damage. Sure, there are one, maybe two bosses in SoO that affliction is better on, but all in all I just stick with destruction. No sense in switching specs for one or two bosses when that spec isn't as well coded as the other one. I haven't had any issues with destruction, so I stick with it.

i don't know what lvl of game play ur doing atm, and yes desto is very well done but atm , affliction beats destro way more in most of fights m8. if u didnt see it doesnt mean it's not there . 1st boss , protectors, Norushes, sha , Iron, Shamans, nazgrim , Malkrok, Thok, crafter, Klaxxy , affli is way better than destro. i knoe many friends and many pugs runs going atm , and affliction is really crazy.
and when ur in a guild and u cant play affliction good while other ppl can , specially in 25M guilds. u really lose ur chances for next expansion. so i don't blame anyone trying to get affliction to top. and Millz can do it. but i hope he gets free to really fix it fast.
i support millz in all his work , i even bought sp , mage just to play with his great work. but really affliction need a help. and fast.

Since I don't belong to a progression guild (my guild only has about 5 active members in it, so we don't raid) all I can really get into are LFRs and Flex wings. My warlock is currently ilevel 535. When compared to other warlocks of my gear level, I out perform them. I'm generally in the top three DPS during raids, and that's even against those with the legendary gem and cloak (I don't have either one as I'm still trying to collect secrets, but have stopped playing my raiding toon while I level a new warlock). I've beaten affliction and demonology warlocks of my same gear level, and have tied or beaten other destruction locks with the same gear level. I'm not doubting what you say, but currently in my gear bracket, destruction does more DPS than affliction. I'm sure affliction shines more with higher gear levels though. That's why I want Millz to get affliction fixed so I can dual spec into it.

It was 25 man, there were other locks - but that shouldn't matter?

Looks like I was not only one having similar experience. We just finished our raid couple hours ago. 25man protectors... other 2 affliction locks had 30-50% more dps...
 
Hmm dunno at first it's really good but then keeps falling off very badly can confirm tested on several 25h bosses
 
Can confirm. Am at 575 ilvl with heroic warforged wep. Got beaten by ilvl 568 warlock with just heroic weapon. On 25M Heroic Prots playing affliction. Made me look very bad.
 
the opener is really good, i tried affliction on protector Flex 10 man , i did 2M opener and after that it kept falling off , tell the fight ended with 680k+ Dps.
and the other affliction warlock whos almost as good as me , ended up with 1M+ dps

warlock 579+ ilvl
 
well i noticed something on affliction and poked Millz about it. hope he can trigger it and get it fixed

I ran normal 25m protectors yesterday and ended at 400k with my 570 lock.
Make sure you set the soul swap health limit at 1k hp if you havent already, you get out way more soulswaps that way.

Thanks - It's done the opener perfect, full DoT duration with 4 procs, and then 20s later re-freshed SB:SS which broke everything. Pushing a fix for it now (and adding /lots/ more debugging).

so millz, are u sure it has nothing to do if other warlock is plying with u at the same time , aslo something new i noticed today.
when i played destro it spammed alot of immolate. it never happen to me from a long time , i don't know why today

Yeah, I've checked over EVERY aura check that there is and it's checking it was applied by our character.

Destro -> you probably didn't reload the bot after changing spec.
 
Every time I try to load HB with my lock (only my lock, all other toons work just fine I get stuck before I can even choose a routine..it says

Millz - from using Portal I know have to reload HB every time we change specs - but we can change glyphs at will correct?
