[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

New build pushed to store, awaiting approval;

[09/May/2016]
- Fixed a bug where we would sometimes cast on units with a 'dont attack' aura - such as Fel Barrier on Soul of Socrethar.
- Added Soulstone random party healer setting. Will not soulstone a healer who already has Soulstone from another warlock.
- Added Create Soulwell setting - separated out from Create Healthstone. Will create soulwell's during preparation in BGs/Arena, or when in an instance, out of combat and not holding a healthstone.
- Enabling/Disabling Overlay no longer requires restarting Honorbuddy.
- Redesigned overlay component. Uses significantly less CPU, is transparent, can be moved easier, can be resized, and shows what the routine is casting.
 
I just bought this and its great but I dont know if im doing something wrong, wrathguard summon is not using axe toss ability and is there an option to use undead cannibalize?

No options for cannibalize. Axe Toss isn't supported (at the moment). Just added it into my copy, will be in the next build.

Can you try using a different key combo? It's working fine for me, so not really sure. Suspect something is interfering. Also worth rebooting your PC.

The CR currently saves the position and size of the overlay in floating-point variables using the computers current locale it seems and doesn't load the numbers correctly when you start it the next time, which makes numbers with many decimals become negative or really large. Please fix this bug, or if it's something else causing it, so that I won't have to manually resize the overlay in the settings file everytime. :)
 
are you planning to put an option to pull more mobs just like in singular, it speeds up some of the dailies.

also I would like to see a little but more logic in minion support, for example when more mobs attacking void could try to take them out of warlock as it is in singular. I bet its not easy to achieve but that it some really nice functionallity! also from advertaising point of view ;)

Good bug report. I've made a change to hopefully resolve this - it'll be in the next build.

No plans to add pull more. Selecting units to attack should be handled by the bot base, not the CR. While it speeds up some dailies, it'll also drag out others if it keeps itself locked in combat.

Hey Millz,

tonight, because I was kinda pissed at WoW, I did a AFK Ashran run for 3 hours while sleeping.

Saw it worked for now, not banned at least, could come in a few days tho.

I checked the log how it went, and saw a HUGE amount of exceptions thrown and log was like 40 MB in a few hours running.
Since its your botbase and also your CR, thats a good coincidence.

I have no clue what the error in the CR is about, I could speculate, but im too much of a newb there to be for sure.

I hate when my log is full of stuff like that, so if I should be able to run it in the future some more, I would like it solved for me.. Hope you can help me, thanks.

Hey

There's loads of errors in that log - not just from Demonic / BGFarmer - and the errors in Demonic are being thrown from multiple parts of the code. From the point the bot started it's throwing errors saying unable to read the game's memory.

My suggestion would be to restart your PC fully, last restart was 9.5 days ago - so definitely worth doing. Do a full restart, boot the PC, then select restart. Not shutdown -> turn on etc.

If this happens again after the restart then can you post another log file please. Fully agree errors like that shouldn't be happening, but in this instance Demonic / BGFarmer don't appear to be the root cause.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, I am new to this routine and have only had it a few weeks, but.... I am sure last week it was auto casting RoF and now this week it is not, did something change that I have to do?

Love the routine, I recently bought it and still trying to getting the settings right for me but I have a couple problems I cant figure out, sometimes it will drain soul as affliction on an add with no dots (killrogg and gorefiend) from bosses i've done. Also sometimes it wont immolate anything and just spam incinerate as destro like gorefiend belly adds and not cast chaos bolt at 4 embers

any help really appreciated thanks

I installed the new HB version, shut down pc, restarted it, cleaned HB cache, disabled plugins and wow addons.... Nothing helped.

Your CR is still spamming my logs hardcore.. Also I noticed, he seems to use other spells just fine, even with the error log, but everything AOE, for warlock: talent shadowfury and spell rain of fire, he just stands there and doesnt seem to use the skill, he activates it, but cant click on the location and so he just stands there until I am dead or my minion kills the mobs and he get going again.

No idea if that issue is related to the errors, I just deactivated shadowfury and RoF in the settings for now, but errors remain the same in the log, for all spells.

Having the same problem with RoF/Shadowfury. Spell activates but it wont cast the second part. I did a fresh install and it worked briefly, but then started doing the same thing again.
 
Anyone care to share their settings using the new GUI? Can't hardly find anything within it :(

I'm rather blank on what settings I should be using on my Demonology Warlock while doing Tanaan Jungle Dailies AFK, and what to use while using DungeonBuddy for Heroics and LFR's. Would love to see some people sharing their optimal settings using the fancy new sharing GUI!

Not entirely sure whether I should keep my Demonology spec or not to be quite honest. I thought it would be the best bet for AFK solo farming, but I'm not entirely sure whether it is or not.

Nothing has really changed in the GUI from the previous builds except just how it looks. Everything is still there. As far as settings, there are some all around settings uploaded to the settings manager inside the gui on the bottom that you can download and load up and your on your way... If your afk'ing in Tannan I just using the regular Questing profile, but for doing heroics or raids I use my downloaded settings that nilrem uploaded.
 
I'm having a really hard time finishing Silver Proving Ground as a Demonology Warlock. I have tried both the Questing, and PvE stock profiles and neither seems to do the trick.
