[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

Hi Milz.
I use demonic premium warlock in arena only with the embedded combat bot.
Np till now but i want to ask:
Is enyo "better" only for arena?
Does it jukes more accurately?
Does enyo do interrupts more often?
Can you plz give me some hints what to use and why?

This only shows how you didn't bother to set it up properly, or you have no gear.

Enyo is better than Combat Bot. Give it a try :)

Juking is mostly down to luck. Used to be pretty consistent in MoP, but the underlying combat log system changed in WoD which made it less reliable.

Have a try of nilrem's settings (you can obtain them via the Settings Manager in the Demonic interface). They're better tuned for raiding/PvE.

Affliction becomes very strong with high ilevel gear so it's viable on many fights. Settings should work for affliction. About demo, it should work but can't say for sure bcs I didn't try it.

-Only 2-3 Shadowburns on the whole fight, even with 20% cancel casting because we are 2 destruction warlocks.
-Not using havoc as much as possible with shadowburns
-Not burning down adds when in Gorefiends belly. Is it normal it is not using chaos bolts on the skeletons and only spamming incinerate?
-Casting immolate on everything, I know that it's hard to get a TTD when the adds pop up with not much health so maybe that isn't possible to solve. (I'll try doing 2 immolates instead of 3 max and see the results)

I've added the logs so you can see if there's anything wrong going on.

Hey

There's been 225 casts of Shadowburn in that log file. With Charred Remains, it'll only cast on current target if target's time to death is < 10s. With the cancel cast shadowburn enabled, it'll cast on any unit it can with less than the specified HP % (which it appears to have been doing in that log file).

It'll use Havoc & SB where it can. Otherwise it'll use Chaos Bolt. There's a couple of occurrences where that hasn't worked correctly, but for the majority of the log it looks correct, i.e....

Immolate -> It'll cast this on units with a TTD (time to death) more than 6 seconds. You're correct though, sometimes it's just a case of it hasn't got an accurate enough TTD value and casts it on a unit that dies quick.

I have noticed that when in mythic gorefiends belly the cr doesn't target the adds down there.

Which units is it not targeting? It definitely targets the Gorebound Constructs (skeletons...)

Yes it is casting full range of abilities once they are out of the belly, but inside it just casts incinerate, I have to use Chaos Bolts manually. I think they are called Shadowy Constructs on the inside.

Shadowburn -> Yep, agree. I've made some changes to the code. Hopefully it will be a bit more efficient from the next build. It only shadowburn's adds when not in full AoE mode (i.e. no F&B). Just something to be aware of.

Shadowy Construct -> It's classing these units as being trivial (note the TTD:1 bit at the end of the line). This is because the unit's max HP isn't very high. The routine is expecting these to die very quick. After ~3 seconds if the unit hasn't been killed it'll start calculating it's TTD, but by this point chances are it actually is going to die within the next second. Pretty hard to get around this.

Let's say before 40% hp even if TTD is 1? It would cast at least one chaos bolt and cancel cast for shadow burn if possible.

I understand your concern with this, I am actually playing affliction for that fight and was destro. I just found a way around it being inside the belly of using like ctrl for enyo to disable the CR while inside and manually casting since your not really inside the belly for a long period of time. Then when you are broken out or come out hit your enable button for enyo (in my case ctrl) and turn it back on and go about ur business.
 
I know that I could go manually, I'm just trying to help maximize the bot.

Also, I'm considering using Affliction on more fights now just because it seems to be better until I have my 2 set and my ring for destruction.

Think of it as if you're grinding low level mobs (which demonic will class as trivial), you wouldn't want to cast a long chaos bolt where a quicker spell would do.

Same applies for low level instances or mobs that have low HP values but come in large waves (i.e. 100 mobs with 1k HP each... MoP instance for example - can't remember the name).

It's pretty difficult to make it apply everywhere yet still *work*.
 
Yes I understand, it's why I would suggest a checkbox for burn low health adds. Though I know UI changes aren't great... Oh well!

What I could do is use the 'Encounter_start' event, then for instance, if we're in a mythic difficulty - don't treat any units as trivial..... Wouldn't break compatibility with other situations (questing, low mobs etc), but not sure how well that would actually work when inside the raid... In reality, there's very very few units in a mythic difficulty raid which would die in < 3 seconds from spawning.
