Hehe, typical Blizzard...when some kids start crying you know what's going to happen.

"Agony damage has been increased by 16%."(5.4 patch notes)

So it's still a 1% buff from 5.3 Hahaha.

See I'm not too convinced the Archimonde's Darkness talent is all that good. You only get 20s more of the buff throughout the whole boss fight. I'm still using KJC.

I'll try and run some timings tonight. The logic is a bit intense for checking DoTs with affliction, so I think I need to tune the checks a bit.

You do have framelock enabled though don't you? Get the experimental cancast option ticked on the advanced tab too, will speed up the routine.

Yey nerfs just what affliction needed. At least it's performing pretty good though. I was thinking about the differences with Demonic and SimulationCraft - and I don't believe their other changes will help. I think I'll tune the refresh timers on the DoTs to refresh a bit earlier.

If you edit the profile to remove any <20% code, then you can get a better estimate.
 
PQR vs HB comparison are not accurate because pqr does not handle multidotting.... Nice works btw
 
Archimonde gave you not +20 sec haste. It's gave you 20 sec haste with most of your procs (for example 2 trinkets with 8k int + meta). on 80% fights it's gave you more then KJC
 
Millz, what is your iLvl that you are testing affliction out at?
I've been pulling about 140k on dummies with 536 iLvl... just got my legendary cloak and another upgrade so will let you know what i pull today with 541iLvl... although the routine isn't perfect at the moment I still think that it is in a good position single target-wise.

I'm ilvl 504 in PvE gear (I don't have the time to raid - spend all my time in game coding!). I'm also gemmed/reforged etc for destruction spec.

*Edit* and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I still think it can do better, but i'm not really sure how/where yet.

For everything - I don't turn it off now. I'll be replacing the default method (i.e. box unchecked) with the experimental setting eventually. It's much, much quicker.

Yeah I'm aware. Have reported it again - I'm tuning affliction at the minute, and got very, very minor pausing on my copy now.
