It's just my opinion, but I avoid Noxxic like the plague. I find their information completely unreliable. I tend to use AskMrRobot.com almost exclusively. Though, I'm sure the hardcore players will tell you to do everything by hand to min-max, and not rely on a website to tell you what to do.

I can confirm, do not use Noxxic. Its SO off.

After installing askmrrobots addon ingame, so easy to re-do all. But kinda had to do it all over. Noxxic is So wrong.

Still dont see how some of you pull 400 k dps with destro / aff. Im 532 in pve and never hit that. Not even close to half?

And even tho i know pvp is all about multi dotting, full geared, i cant say im hitting great dps either. 4 mill dmg done in a rated bg being where the action is 90 % of the time aint

In the last rated bg, the lock was spot on @ my dps, watching him closely showed me he used Demonic aswell... so it aint me.

Multi dotting is on in pvp.

Does the burst setting even change anything? Set it on a hotkey, but cant even see a difference when pressing it. Shows burstmode on but hey, cant
tell a difference.

Funny how i saw a warlock in timeless the other day showing : "/y im bursting now" , u think he really would be that stupid lol?

This routine rocks, dont get me wrong i love it. Fearing healers, perfect, banishing perfect. But why is my dps still low or cant i reach the dps some of you
gain in pve. Or are you all 550 heroic geared and does 532 mean nothing and is 130 k dps ( destro - pve ) on a boss good then, dont think it is imo. I can do more without.

My Lock: ilvl 545 Unbuffed. Spell Power- 32009 , Mastery- 91.60% (12880), Haste- 23% (9781) , Crit (bleh too much) Hit 15%+ always.

Don't trust MrRobot imo, look at WOL, check out raiders in high end guilds who know their classes. Get an addon called reforgelite from curse. And set it to hit cap>mastery>haste ( have around 9k haste in lower gear until BiS) but smash out mastery in all specs.
Gem all 320 Mastery (yellow) , mastery/Int (Orange/Red) and Hit/Mastery for Blue/Green slots. See how you go

Thanks for your response. The stats shows where the ones for aff in pvp. And there its about haste Played pve as destro ( just lfr and soloing instances - occasional flex raid ) and im prio on mastery there after being slight above hit cap.

Will look into that addon and see how i can improve. Ty.

Morning all - I'll reply to issues/PMs etc shortly. Busy trying to work through the pausing issues - but I'm not convinced it's the routine that's causing it - it's looking like it's the new HB memory library (GreyMagic).

- Experimental CanCast method is caching another object to save 1.5ms.
- Logging now shows the targets HP percent.
- Changed unit scanning to a different method to filter out game objects.
- [Destruction] Should no longer run out of mana.
- [Affliction / Destruction] Changed filler checks to remove aura scanning due to routine pausing. // Thanks to projektt for testing !


This should fix the major pausing issues. It may not run as smooth/perfect as it normally does, but the issue is with Honorbuddy's new memory library which is taking longer to scan auras. I've reported the issue to the HB devs, hopefully we'll see it fiixed shortly so I can revert these changes. It should overcome the major issues the routine has currently though.

Which trinket proc?

It'll cast Chaos Bolt if you're low on mana to prevent it standing waiting for mana to regen.

Yeah it's not monitoring that. I'll have to put in some kind of stats snapshot when combat begins then when stats have increased by X amount (configurable) cast Chaos Bolts. No promises it'll be done today though, stuff to do today (unfortunately!!).

Yeah, it probably will - there's issues with Honorbuddy. Other devs are noticing it too. We've told the HB devs to investigate. I've amended Demonic to adapt as best as possible.
