[Warlock CC] skiWarlock 5.0 -Ok, probably doesn't work right now-

How about using Drain Soul if your shard count is really low (and it's usable as a finisher). It's faster than waiting on SH.

There's already an option for it, but I'm going to add another so that you can setup drain soul to fire whenever you need shards, not only as a finisher. That way you can recover in combat as well for long fights.

the CC works perfectly on my Alt. I use the GER Client ;-). Nice Work Ski

EDIT - When I load "514" version folder to CC in new HB "3182" at login it says "Could not find a routine fitting for your class. Please make sure you have a proper combat class routine in your folder, and restart Honorbuddy."

the skiwarlock folder is setup HB >CustomerClassses > skiWarlock > skiWarlock.cs.

If I delete 514 folder and reload old 509 fodler version into same above spot it works.

Thanks for advise. Apologies for error in earlier post.

Have latest "514" version loaded with new HB "3182" - says "Current CC does not have any configuration" when I click CC Config button. Thx

Did you remove the "Default Warlock" directory? If it is loading that CC I am pretty sure it doesn't have a config UI of its own.

Correct, or the wrong CC was chosen when it asks which you want to use.

So I got to try this out for a little bit last night as I'm trying to get my UI/etc back up and running post patch (just haven't been able to play). Other then an HB issue of throwing a HAX.lua error when I start it, it seems pretty solid so far. My DPS was cranked up pretty high on the level 80 target dummy.

My comments:

- You should remove the "Life Tap (Rank 1)" functionality (or at least the option to turn it on). They removed the buff that converts Spirit to AP (from the old Life Tap talent) so there's no reason to have that functionality anymore. Easy thing is just remove the ability to toggle that in the config UI.
- Looks like the Felhound is still the default pet for Affliction. It should be the Succubus. You don't get the group INT buff, but the DPS on the Succubus is higher then the Felhound. Unless someone can show that Dotlock + Felhound is bigger DPS then Dotlock + Succubus I'd love to see the math.

Otherwise I ran the bot for a while on the target dummy and it seemed to keep the DoTs going in pretty perfect order without any being clipped. So I'll try and play around with it more over the next couple of days and get it into an actual combat situation, but so far, so good.

Great job ski!

EDIT: Oh yeah, with you adding in the Soulburn functionality, do you have any idea how/when you'll add Soulburn: SoC?

Nope it dosent work for me :)
and is it possible for it to use single target rotation on bosses? looking stupid that im using RoF on the creeps and boss on 2nd boss of HoL :P
And is it possible to make it use RoF on 3+ targets, not 2+?

Things on the list to be fixed/improved:
- AoE/Single Target rotation switching
- Possibly focusing on boss instead of adds (if I can come up with a way to do it)
- Better line of sight checks/movement
- Remove Lifetap buffs
- Clean up the settings a bit
- Add soulburn:soc

The first three will take a while to do since I have to test them live in instances, and its hard to find time to do it.

The latter three should be done at some point tonight.

While that would be nice, what I do before I got into a boss fight is stop HB, change the option in the CC config that deals with adds to false, then start it back up. So you can at least have the CC running and not be firing off RoF/SoC. Just make sure the Boss is your first target and it'll just stay on that.

EDIT: Also, you can make multiple configs for the various situations. Adds True, Adds True (but AE's turned off), Adds False. It is really easy and quick to switch between them on the fly (as long as it doesn't crash HB).

Well changing the logic to focus on the Boss, etc, isn't a road you should be going down really. There are some boss fights where you need to ignore the boss and deal with the adds, deal with the boss and not the adds, etc, etc... I think that as long as "Fights Adds: True" and "Fight Adds: False" do what they need to do it isn't that difficult to create two different configs for each and just swap between them on the fly as needed.

Out of the entire list, and probably the hardest one to suss out, imo, is the first one... Once you have it nailed down on switching between single target to multi-target back to single target correctly... Then this CC will even be a bigger beast then it is right now.

Works for me, less work woo.

Yeah, unless you want to try and keep a set of scripts for each boss (ala IB) then you need to keep it in the hands of the user to be able to configure as there's no overall blanket way to do it.

wow thanks, I'm using it for 2h now and that realy the best one I have use so far. Lv 41 now.

Well, I created a new lock to test this out and one of the problem I see is that when it was in fargo mine killing kobold miner, sometimes it would keep spamming skill even though the monster was not in the line of sight.

Dont work for me HB says Could not construct instance of skiWarlock! Exception was thrown. Exception:
Ein Teil des Pfades "C:\Users\...\Desktop\HB_2003182\HB_2003182\CustomClasses\skiWarlock\skiWarlock.xml" konnte nicht gefunden werden.

Lol, I've been standing here for 30 minutes killing boars nonstop. I'm level NINE now and still getting like 15k xp/hr from this place lol.

what happened?

yesterday I was making 190K hr.
today I am making 93K

What is really weird is the felguard. He intersepts and fights for a while maybe 4 or 5 seconds then he just wanders off. Leaving me with the mob.
I looked and he is just wondering in around where the mob was.

is this the new HB the CC or buzzard ?
maybe a setting in the CC...I am a level 70 using demo setting.
Is there anything I need to turn on or off at my level?

After reinstalling and trying a second time. I have seen him do the walk off 2 or 3 times, but mainly he is continually attacking now.
I am up to about 159K

So you are saying if i say Fight Adds False, it wont do RoF, SoC, but dot everything up? or am i mistaken?
