Warlock and Skinning

Ok, so I'm running a skinning routine with my warlock. Here's the problem, when the bot takes over, my lock will send out my pet first and the pet will get the kill and make the target unskinnable. Is there a work around where I can use like drain life or something like that before my creature attacks, so atleast I might be able to get damage in before my creature kills them? It's pretty much making skinning impossible at this rate.

That sounds like an issue you should take up with Blizzard, because the pet getting the kill and you unable to skin the corpse sounds effed up to me

Oh? So even if the pet kills it without me touching it, I should be able to loot and skin?

Buddy,

I had problems like you.
The solution: Zerfall - Custom Classe for Warlock. In the setup, choose NO Pet, and your pet dont attack the mob before you.

It's working, I cast Shadow Bolt before my pet responds. That's all I needed, thanks man!
