Warden/hb or any other blizzard tools scanning hard drives?

Hello i just want to inform each and everybody some weirdness going on


I have tested it several times now, on old,new hardware different systems like xp,win7,win8.

The method i used was to use 3 different green mechanical hard drives and force them to sleep after a few minutes with CLEAN windows installations just started up and absolute NOTHING attached to those drives..

1st method

Start wow, sit or play around do some manual leveling or whatever you wanna do for 10-60 minutes.

result = no other hard drives spinning up.

2nd method.

Start wow, start hb put it to grind,quest - or whatever you want.

Within 10-60 minutes your drives will spin up.


So what do we got now?

Without hb running no randomly spinning up hard drives.

With hb running randomly spinning starts to occur.


So does blizzard actually know when hb is injected into the wow process, and then decides to scan the drives?? or does hb randomly starts our hard drives and look for stuff it should not?


Hope a dev will read and answer my questions, because this is really messed up !

Its not in the new TOS from blizzard 5.3 as its is the law blizzard can't scan hard drives. Other patches of TOS have had something in it worded so it scare's you but the law is the law.

It Is Also Illegal To Drink And Drive In The States But A Lot Of People Do It...

Yep its also illegal for them to scan hard drives. Without a warrant.

HB write logs every time and then to the hard drive

Instead of spreading rumors and writing teories without decent background in the reverse engineering, do some research and google your questions.

HB does not write logs to other drives.
