But, please don't bug him. He's clearly stated "it's done when its done", and annoying him (even if unintended) is exactly the type of thing that chases great developers out of our Community.

I believe there are 2 or 3 other posts on either Wanderlust coming soon and this one is labelled Wanderlust Complete yet no Wanderlust. I'm sure developers get frustrated and have RL issues to deal with. But seriously why even post about something that appears to be so great just to get our hopes up? People need to hop off and not care so much it's a game, and on top of that there are plenty of other profiles around this forum that will level you too via questing, pvp, etc.

I went inactive from the site because the constant moaning and bickering about a release was highly annoying so between then and now I have been working on the project in peace and quiet. It is now complete.

Telling people you have something and saying you will release and then you do not. Well. What's the point?
I really couldn't care less either way, sorry if this 'annoys' you enough to make you leave again and punish everyone else by not releasing. The amount of posts like this i have read on botting forums are too numerous to count.

Yes real life can get in the way but if as you say it was complete and all you were waiting on was to level another char or two, which i can understand btw, and RL got in the way of your leveling those chars then why not release what you have since it obviously doesn't matter. Next week? Okay.

p.s. I have no idea if the mods will decide to mute me for voicing my opinion regarding your behaviour but will happily take the mute to be proved wrong for thinking a Troll is a Troll when they are not. All i ask *IS* to be proved wrong.

It's not about that. It's about saying your doing something and not doing it. If your not going to do it then don't say you are.

Of course, if his computer blew up, HD crashed, Aliens stole it, then no problem. Though most people would have a back up of work so important and time consuming.

A backup can still not be posted if the computer used to post it blew up, crashed or stole some aliens and got locked up in jail for that.

We have things know as flash drives, DVDs, Carbonite, googlecode, etc. etc. People who do this kind of thing with so much time invested certainly don't keep only 1 backup and not on their computer. And even if it was on your computer it wouldn't be on your C: drive, even a blown up computer can have it's HD put into another. Now, if the Aliens DID take all the code from all the backup places and memory wiped...fair enough

You are right. Why bother posting? Just like why bother posting something that will get people all excited and then just leave people hanging time and time again.

Actually I don't bother posting as you can tell by my post count. I don't need Wanderlust. It just seemed like an awesome way to bot. Anyway I think I made my point by you making your point

I know this isn't going to be widely popular with those here, but I have to agree with fosheezy. The OP was creating this great, unequaled product. Something that will revolutionize botting and make it so simple, even my poodle could do it... ok, maybe a little overstated, but you get the idea... a really great profile. Then the people on here start getting too demanding so he disconnects from the forum, and hides out in his mountain retreat where he can code in solitude.

THEN, he comes back here and creates a post titled "Wanderlust Complete" and says

That was on July 29th, 24 days ago as of today. I'm not one to sit here and REALLY want that profile. Will I give it a test? Sure... but will it make my day? Probably not. I am still new to all of this and haven't gotten to leveling new or previous toons yet. I'm just one that doesn't understand why he would spend so much time away so he could get it done in peace and quiet and then come back to state when it was coming out - only to not put it out when he said he would.

Basically - he's inviting the very controversy that he left because of.

Just my .02 worth... feel free to disagree or flame me if that's your desire. lol

Every time i've quest bot levelled, i've run into at least one new problem that none of the other characters have had. some are simple, like my paladins bags got full on the zenkiki quests and despawned him to go vendor, or...lol, my hunter had issues with his quests too, it kept disengaging off the cliff and dying XD. i've leveled several DKs with the starter profile, my tauren got stuck in a doorway on its mount for about 3 hours (a few months back, before the auto logout on stuck feature XD).

Anyway the point i'm trying to make is that if synik is trying to make it as bug free as possible, its not as simple as loading it up in HB and testing it a couple of times, because any number of new bugs can present themselves. Unless you really think that Synik is watching this thread, refusing to release the profile because he wants to see another 50 people bitch first? Then you should understand that crying about it won't make it any faster, it'll be ready when it's ready. We're all excited to try out a new profile, and we all should just try being patient.
