Walter's Waltz Combat Routine

walter, I've been modding out madness sorceror spec a little bit so I could use it myself (I just don't like using lightning build) :)

Here's the changed function:

All I really did was change the name of affliction to its changed name and the debuf of crushing darkness. I have tried to use !MyBuffs.Contains("Wrath (3)") on crushing darkness and lightning strike, but this does not seem to work and it ends up casting cd or lightning strike without full wrath. It seems just putting !MyBuffs.Contains("Wrath") works a little better, but force lightning will only run until wrath is up 1 or 2 points and then stop, and fully cast the crushing darkness, which wastes time.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. In the mean time I'm also going to mess with the healing, perhaps make a dps healing method, because when companion health gets low, it spends most of its time trying to cast its basic heal, and without a healer spec just burns through mana and can't keep up with the damage the companion is receiving anyways.

If I have extra time I'll try to add in mounting, like Joe's has, as simply being mounted in outdoor areas not only increases speed, but seems to get me past a lot of mesh issues where the bot seems to not be stuck, and running back and forth in the "infinite triangle", but once mounted it goes past this for some bizarre reason.

I will load up SVN and update it. Thanks a bunch!

First thing I must ask is, did you read the manual given when you paid for the bot? To install a routine is easy, (Walters is included by default) all you have to do is download it, take it out of the zip file and place it in routines, then reload the bot.

As for the profile, which do you try to load?

So you are asking help for Pure in Walters thread....
Plus you really need to read the forums, all your answers are there.

Yes thanks buddy. Sorry about before. I was very confused and worried that some of the threads were inactive ~ anyway I figured it out after a detailed explanation ~ anyway sorry for before.

Hello there. I am willing to try Buddywing and have some classes to level in swtor. What would you suggest for leveling? I am going to control the movement myself so first of all I would like to ask if the cc has the option to disable movement and only do the combat for me. I suppose this cc is the best for leveling? I use honorbuddy in wow for long enough and what happens there is that:

pure rotation: End game dps optimization - let the healer save you
singular/leveling cc: Survival has more priority than DPS and cc acts as if you don't have a healer to take care for you.

Is it the same here? Is this cc better for soloing/leveling and the pureswtor for endgame group play? Can someone introduce me to what works with buddywing and what doesn't compared to honorbuddy?

Did the new update break everything? Getting compiler errors now

For questing, specifically after turning in a quest and it ask you to select one reward from multiple choices, it seems to get stuck here until I manually choose the reward. Is this a profile issue or an issue with the combat routine? Is there a way I can fix that?

My second question, is Walter's Waltz still being updated? I like this one for questing since it seems to run through the quests a lot faster than Joe's since it does fewer and less frequent checks for loot, etc. Thanks!

That sounds like a profile issue. I'm sure if Walter is still updating, I know he's very busy with work and school

Yeah, figured it out. It does seem to be a profile issue with CompleteQuest where it shows Rewardindex="2"..... changed it to "1" and going to see if that fixes the issue. I believe the values should be 0, 1, 2, etc. The value will select what slot to choose from left to right.....will know for sure once I can run another character through.

It is a profile issue...
If your using kicks, the first planets got this problem.
Your new value should be the noted value -1 (so 2 -1 = 1), lowest value is 0.
If you want to run hassle free and dont care about the reward, set it to 0.

If im correct Walter is working only (he finished school?)
Plus i havent seen much of an update lately...

Hello Thank you for the great Routines. But I have the problem that my tropper never loot. He fights perfect but don´t loot Please helpo me I think it is a small problem

Thanks in advance

SVN doesnt work for me but i want to try out this routine.. is there a way to just get the download as a regular file instead of having to use a SVN

Just installed this. .nav issues with hopping that plagued me with other routines are gone, runs seamlessly so far, many thanks.

I seem to be having the loot issues others were describing, except that when I set mine to true, it flips right back to false. I've deleted the settings directory, compiled assemblies, etc. Any thoughts?

Scratch that, a few clean installs and tweaks later, and it's working like a charm.

Yea I haven't updated this in some time. If you have questions just ask. After 3.0 I will go though and update. Currently focusing resources on newer projects but a few happen to be on the forums.
