I am currently running windows 7 on VMware with HB running perfectly.

The only problem i have is that my VMware has the same ip address as my machine.

I want it so that I can bot on my VMWare without it being traced to my usual machine, i know this is possible through VPN, but do not know how i do it.

A Free method would be best, but i am willing to pay if necessary.

I would like to know a bit more about this as well please as to play my main while botting on my botting account is it worth doing as i would hate to be botting on one while playing my main and get banned on both?

1. If im botting on my botting account while raiding on my main would they ban both?

2. Is this worth sorting all out so this would not happen or do people think it makes no difference at all?

3. And as we have always said here on GB dont bot what you dont want to lose well i would hate to be botting in the background while rading and lose my main :-(

Any info in from pro botters as im part time only do for the gold for my toons :-)
 
(DISCLAIMER: I don't get anything for mentioning these services, nor are any of these "affiliate" links, I'm just trying to answer P3T3RLG's as best as possible)

The easiest way to VPN is to use a service like StrongVPN.com ($7/month, paid for at 3 months at a time: StrongVPN Packages), which uses Windows's built in VPN support to make the connection - they provide all the setup instructions, and you don't need to run any special software. Once the connection's made, all internet traffic from your (virtual) machine goes through them, therefore changing your IP :)

I've also heard of CyberGhost VPN which has a free option, but I think they disconnect you after a certain amount of time or bandwidth usage, I haven't tried them myself.
 
Free one sounds good but you still have to get wow on it so you have no chance of that lol

Is it really worth doing though i mean how many people play there main and bot? on the same pc and has anyone ever been banned on both while only botting on there botting account??
 
Well, if you want to get really paranoid, there are actually loads of ways Blizzard could identify which accounts all belong to a botter. Not to scare anyone, but here are a few: ;)

1. computer name
2. names of computers on the network (if you bot with a different pc)
3. wireless networks nearby (their signal strengths will be the same, whereas they wouldn't be the same from a different house, etc)
4. similar BattleNet username / email / password
5. browser cookies (from the "Launcher.exe")
6. timestamps ("created at", "last modified") of the WoW files (I think... could be wrong)

That said, yes I think you probably are better off using a 2nd pc or a VM - even better if a VPN - if possible. Blizzard probably wont ban a whole family's WoW accounts if one of them bots (assume here they're all on different PCs), but seeing multiple accounts active at the same time doing suspicious stuff on one pc... pretty likely ;)
 
In my Case i have 2 pc, ishould use 1 pc for Bot and the other for raid(let say)

Let say i put 5 accounts on PC1 should i set up 5 VPN servers 1 for each account or just one for the 5 accounts? all accounts different Contact info, user, all that stuff diferrent to each other
 
To use 5 different VPNs on one (real) PC, you'll need to be running 5 VM's.... it's probably easier to just run 1 VM, with 1 VPN (you can only connect to 1 VPN at a time, I believe), and run your 5 WoWs in that :P
