Anyone who is using vmware had this issue? when i try to start DemonBuddy and after i press login i get this error:

Error attaching to Diablo III, Reason:System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'fasmdll_managed.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.
File name: 'fasmdll_managed.dll'
at Zeta.MemoryManagement.ExternalProcessReader..ctor(Process proc)
at Zeta.ZetaDia.TryInitialize(Process proc, String& reason)

Anyone knows whats wrong?...

:( i have instaled java runtime and still : [18:32:30.806 N] Error attaching to Diablo III, Reason:System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'fasmdll_managed.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.

I fixed it,i used demonbuddy wizard. It was a C++ problem, instaled x64 but needed x86. Thanks:)

Go to the DB folder, there's a folder called "Help" in there, install "Demonbuddy dependency installer"... See if it works after that.

I am really having big troubles with VMware , first i instaled win7 but my bots seemed laggy, like freezing every 0.5 seconds, working really really bad. Now i reinstalled everything and i use Win Xp Sp3 but same story it goes so bad. I have set 2gb ram and 1cpu - 4 cores for the Vmware instance..... Anyone knows whats the problem? can it be driver related or something..... its runnign so bad :( i cant seem to fix it... are ther especial settings i should take in consideration?.,..

Yep i have vmware tools instaled, right now D3 is running and CPU usage is at going from 19% to 40% , standing more @ 20% and ram usage 800MB out of 2gb.... so theres plenty of it to use. But the games doesnt run like smooth continuosly it goes like with little freezes or stops not sure how to explain... Its running jerky. With all setups set to LOW and no FPS limit, even with fps limit still the same :(. I really need to get it towork but its giving me a hard time

I had the same issue. Change number of processors to 2 with 2 cores. Thats what fixed my problem. I also run my VM's with 4 GB of ram.

the problem is that DirectX support on VMWare sucks, you lose a lot of graphics performance just by running in a vm.

That's very true but I were a large tinfoil hat. I enjoy the security of different HW ID's and external IP's.

I fixed everything. Updated direct x on it, deactivated everything the windows doesnt need also deactivated all that vmware dont need. seted 2gb and 1 cpu 2 cores for each instance. Runs like a boss now ^^ 4 accounts each different mac :)

Oh and i set CPU afinity CPU 0 for D3, Cpu 1 for DB :)

Why is then just one of my four accounts banned?

You got lucky or used vmware so each one of ur diablo runs on a diff mac adress?? ^^

Its not logical to ban by ip dude, for example everyone from a university share the same ip.... if someone bots there they ban everyone who plays diablo from there?.... Mac adress is uniq for each pc so that makes more sense then ip ban? O_o

+ you can check this by trying to log from different mac adress. When you log in a different vmware instance ul be asked for your Secret Answer even if its the same ip, why? because its a different mac i suppose....

Just because you do not think it is logical does not mean it does not happen. IP bans DO happen, it is not the common method but they CAN do it.

Thats the limitation of virtualization technology. PCI devices on the host cannot be virtualized yet, therefore the graphic performance of the host cannot be leveraged on the virtual machines. Most of the graphic virtulization processing is taken care by the CPU on the physical machine.
