VM + EB connection issues

I am having some issues with EB and my Virtual Machine. My internet goes down when I connect EB to path of exile, but not when I play without EB. At first I thought it was a network/connection issue (did some troubleshooting on that) but it doesnt seem that way, given that the same VPN works perfect on my other computer, and I can play decently without EB on my VM. What happens is that I log into town, put the bot on, he goes to docks and after a minute or two the bot crashes and the internet goes down (no logs). If anyone has had a similar problem I would appriciate any solutions / tips. The VPN is not the cause of the issue, windows loses connection to the network.

Hardware allocated to VM (Workstation 12 Pro):
Memory: 2GB
Processors: 2. 4 cores
Disk: 60GB
OS: Windows 10

I am only running 1 EB on 1 virtual machine and I am only running 1 VM. On my host computer I have an EB running already. Different EB keys.

Would appriciate if anyone knew what this is due to. Internet crashes when EB enters an instance. Throw far fetched solutions at me, I need to solve this quickly.
 
So it turns out it might be a problem with the VPN, running without it does not cause disconnect. It is really strange because it ran perfectly well with the VPN some days ago.

could be instability yep, sounds like so.

i would run infinite ping to the ip to make sure it doesn't derp sometimes.
 
Ok I think I decisivly figured out what the problem is. I will post it here in case someone has a similar issue.

In windows 8 and 10 there is an anti-malware protection application that runs when the computer connects to a network (the VPN adapter). This shit application uses a lot of hardware, put my memory/CPU at 90-100%, and I am pretty confident this was the cause of my internet instability.Have been running fine since I applied the fix.

Here is a guide on how to correct Bill Gates shitty background app:

Bill gates has nothing to do with this, he does, though have lots to do with curing Malaria and such.

Indeed, and he does good stuff, although I think he does far too little. Being a socialist myself, I think he should be taxed and half of his earnings should go to Chinease and Russian botters so there is less botting competition, Kappa. Sry for OT.

OnT: 8ish hours later the fix still works, no internet loss.
