Specs:
Primary -> Windows 7 Home with 8 gig of RAM
VMWARE 8 Workstation -> 2 gigs of ram, 1 processor.
This rig runs perfectly fine when I don't have the Virtual Private Network enabled (I'm using *******).
Runs super poorly when running ****, lag is from 1 second to 5 seconds to disconnection.
Question 1:
Is it safe to run an instance of Diablo 3 via VM w/o Virtual Private Network on your primary PC and not get your main account banned?
Question 2:
What Virtual Private Network do you guys use in order to bot that doesn't disconnect every 10 minutes?
I am located in the Midwest, so I realize I might need to go through a couple of hops to get to the B.net servers, but the lag is just too much.
Edit:
I have searched the guides and the forums for information on the proper use of a Virtual Private Network and I am still not finding anything related to lag or how do deal with it (Perhaps my searching skills are that bad or I am that stupid, but I can't find anything.)
Edit 2:
So the usage of even the term virtual private network is asterisked out there? Awesome.
