Could someone help me understand how to set up Virtual Machine or give me a little background on this? For one of my computers I'd like 2 unique mac address so that I can log my main in safely. For my other computer I can just manually spoof the address each time I end up getting banned I'll just change it again. But I'd like to keep my main with its own IP and Mac Address. Thanks guys!

Dear mal1000, I have botten for a solid 14 days now, and consider myself among the most experienced and knowledgable among the botters on this forum. I can say with confidence that you posted this thread in the right subforum, and that there are no previous threads dealing with this or similar issues.

Thanks for your sarcastic response, it was extremely enlightening and helpful.

I wouldn't advise you to use a VM . All my bots on VM get banned, others are fine even if I bot them for 14-15h/day.

strange, i've botted with sandboxie for a month, each week i was banned 5 days later, for 4 weeks in a row. Just set up vm's, so i hope i get better luck with those

The hammer loves you, deal with it ;D well there's something in your setup that cause the flag, keep digging =) You'll find it. We found out that Vms are safer, but also more instable.

Vmware is quite easy to use, just install it, get yourself a copy of win 7 or win xp. then just go through the setup of making a vm within vmware just use default setting if your not sure what they all are apart from hd space/ram/cpu cores you want to give and install windows. It will ask for a activation key or you can skip that and do later. :)

Once windows is installed, install poe/netframework etc for EB and vpn. You might have to mess with the settings to get it running how you like, I don't know your specs or anything but once you have got one vm sorted you can clone it to make a copy of it for more bots.

With cloning you can either chose to share the file system files or something between all clones which saves hd space on all clones or you can make a complete copy. I hope this helps. :)

Forgot to say if you do make clones remember to change vpn settings otherwise they will all be on the same vpn.

its me and you tonyx, against the world

it's not about VM, but behavior ;)

Bots on normal computer had the same behavior/ farm hours even same build yet are still alive after 1 month of 14h/day grind(diff ip's ofc)...maybe it's the bad performance of vm's that cause the bans

you should try sandboxie+different mac+diff ip for each poe, i heard it's the way to go.

thanks buddy. I used to go 1 ip for all, now i'm using diff ips'. Yeah that would work too, but i'm running different ips atm and i actually like it alot. Its easier to manage. Before I'd have to change exilebuddy settings all the time because they'd overwrite each other. And with vm's I can probably hook up a proper autorelogger to work in case of a crash

While on the subject, I use windows 10 for my VM's. Is there any drawbacks to this OS such as extra disk space / lower performance? I cant get 2 VM's running + one client on host without VM's dropping to 5 FPS.

Ok, sorry for my sarcastic first reply. For VMware:

VM's automatically have unique MACs (you can check what MAC you have/change it in the VM in adapter settings).
If you only use one account/VM you minimize maintanence (you dont have to change VPN server location / MAC / EB settings for each account).

Here is a nice guide on how to set up VM's : https://exiled-bot.net/community/index.php/topic/1231-howto-run-in-vmware-workstation-9/

I still don't get it, I seem to get banned really easy and fast while running a bot on a VM. Compared to running bots on a normal computer where I have some bots running for one month for 12h or more/day ,totally fine, and on a VM botting 10-12 h I get banned in 6-7 days or less(top was 3 days). And it can't be "JUST LUCK" because I have more than 3 computers and all the accounts that run on a regular computer are fine. never banned , while all my accs that run on a VM end up getting banned sooner or later. They really seem to hate VM. Changed my VM so they have 2 cores, 3GB ram and run on a ssd, so I get few and rare lag spikes/freezes. I think they just ban clients that play more than 10h/day on a VM.

If they ban you that fast there is something they have that they use to identify you. Try this: uninstall PoE, change IP/mac, download and reinstall PoE. Even if they find someone using a VM they cant just ban someone over that, there is something they have that relates your new account to some previous account you botted on. I run 2 VM's for more than 2 weeks now, althought with some issues, none of them are banned and I even RMT'd on one of the accounts, I run 12-16h/day.
