[Video Guide] Easily Create Gathering Profiles In Any Zone

This appears to be an HB issue as I am experiencing this as well.

Yes it will, and Zaprecorder is an awesome plugin. This method creates profiles directly from gatherer or gathermate2 data without having to use zap. Zap is great for ground mount farming and grinding however.
 
anyone else had problems with the profiles made using this method , randomly flying back and forth in a 20 yard area and flying up non stop , ive watched it do this for last 15 mins , if i stop then restart it picks back up and then a bit down the road does the same thing
 
How often is this occurring and in which zones? I will look into it.
 
after about 10 nodes , and its happened in townlong steppes and dread wastes by the large trees
 
Thanks for the report. I will take a look at this in the next couple of hours. Could you pm me the profiles you were using so I can test them?

Grinding profiles are not quite as simple but if there is a need I can certainly put together a guide. In the meantime, Kamilche has written a great plugin that makes creating grinding profiles wicked easy. You can enable gathering as well which is a huge plus. It is called FIGHTHERE and can be downloaded from the author's post here.

I could use a hand with questing conditions. dont understand a video I saw on here. and also quest behaviors.

Condemned.. Thank you very much!! I think the guides are BRILLIANT, the videos makes it amazingly easy to learn the process. I tried to learn how to make profiles, but couldn't since the Routesbuddy was out of date, glad to see it working again.

I hope I can make something to give back to this great community.

In regards to your grinding tutorial, I'm very interested in learning that.. couple of things I would like to see:

1. Could you make the toon use the repair and sell vendor from "Mammooth" ?
2. Could you make the toon use the engineering "mail"?
3. Could you make the toon use Jeeves? to access bank and sell?

The above is to reduce the time needed to travel back and forth to mail/repair/sell.

I was thinking of making a profile to farm a specific dungeon and leaves - reset instance - and farm again.. could you possibly tap into that?

One example was to farm The Stonecore for the Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake

The profile would work as follows:

1. Set instance mode to 5 man Normal
2. Enter instance
3. Kill 3 groups of mobs to activate 1st boss
4. stick to the left and avoid engaging the 1st boss
5. go through to clear some mobs to reach 2nd boss
6. kill boss, loot
7. if mount dropped "yaay" if no mount drops
8. use the portal next to 2nd boss to teleport to start of dungeon
9. leave dungeon
10. reset dungeon
11. rinse and repeat


I would love to do something like that and probably make it a quest bot so you could start it anywhere and it would travel there by itself!

The grinding guide is in the works and will be finished soon. I've had more than a fair share of distractions as of late but i will be posted. I promise.
 
UI you used? looks sick also great guide gonna try and make my own profiles :D

+rep, thanks for your post I think it will be very helpful as I begin to use honorbuddy and for many other users. Especially like the detail of how to properly customize the profile, I think making profiles will be very fun. Looking forward to learning much more about creating profiles and changing them.
