Current rumor is your 'pity legendary' (increased leg chance after going X amount of time without a drop) only resets if you actually pick up the item.

Is it possible to only loot a legendary ceremonial knife or set shoulders? Would like to leave everything else on the ground.

Is possible with loot rules. Also sounds like a horrible tinfoil hat plan. Just loot the damn legs!
