Verification of GB2 and 5.3 changes

Can anyone verify if GB2 is or is not able to gather in Pandaria starting at level 1 for herbing and mining? I've heard from people that it does and I've heard from some people that it doesn't. I haven't been able to test it out yet due to graphics card issues with my computer.

Use any normal profile for Pandaria with level 1 mining/herb and it will level them in Pandaria.

EDIT: You may need to change the min/max levels in the profile, depending.
