Vanilla functionality?

I completely understand that vanilla servers are not a supported functionality for Honorbuddy, but has anyone tried to run it on a vanilla server regardless? I'm just curious if it would work. Thank you.

well you will need to find a honorbuddy built that is built for the patch you are playing.
and I'm pretty sure that hb wasn't around vanilla wow
