using items on mob

so i wrote a 1-58 horde profile awhile ago and was testing it to release and then shattering hit so now i am remaking and am almost done so should be ready by the time patch is out..... anyways i have a quick question and was hoping i could add a few more quests to my arsenal if this is possible.

Is there a way that i can do quests that require you to use an item on a particular mob? I cant really do a "RunTo" code because it needs to target a certain mob to use the item. So hopefully someone has a solution to this!

(Example: "Testing the Antidote" quest in hellfire you need to use the antidote on a hellboar and then kill it)

What you are asking for is effectively <UseItem> on a Mob. It would be very nice if this was possible—alas, the Honorbuddy Profile language has no provision for this feature at this time.

You might consider asking for an enhancement request using Bugtracker. There are a number of quests that sure could make use of the capability.

yup sorry and thanks for the help although i found a footnote on the useitem wiki page that says this type of action is currently not supported and forgot to post up.... thanks anyways for the replys!

Since no one else has submitted an Enhancement request, I created Bugtracker #161 for it.

Add additional info to it as you will. The more quests we can identify that require this feature may help move it up the priority chain.

Please remember that Enhancement requests are low priority--true bug fixes are always addressed first.
