Using Instance Buddy with a Disc Priest

Hey just looking for some advice. Want to run some lvl 81-85 normal dungeons on my disc priest. Using ensemble's CC. Now i want to stay as disc and have it farm while using holy/disc spells to kill the mobs while waiting on the dungeon. This CC seems unable to do that....most of the time just melees with the staff, by running up to the mob, unless i cast a spell for it. THen it just smites it to death. Or keeps meleeing away. Havent used it to heal a dugeon just yet. still waiting on the queue lol

How has anyone else set this up with thier priest?

The default settings for Ensemble works fine for me, I disable Wanding and uncheck Smite. Other then that it works great with IB. For grinding the usual cast sequence is holy fire, pentence, smite smite smite, rinse repeat least at my level of 79.

have it in an instance right now. gets way to close to the tank and sometimes melees the mobs! doesnt see right >.>

I'm running this with IB as we speak.....I've fully botted a human priest as disc from 1-41 so far in 3 days....(would be less but it crashed while i was at work) Anyways, my priest never gets in the fight with the tank up close or tries to melee at all....It stays at range with the casters and heal better than i could anyday.....Awesome CC......Its gonna be sad when I hit 85 on this toon and it looks like I Ebay'd my account cause i have no damn clue how to play him lol....

Running vortex pinacle. dont get why it tries to melee. idk if cuz its trying to melee it runs up close. or because it runs up close it tries to melee >.>

hm well i seem to be getting better results witht he blank archaology profile....
setting up IB to not use smite or wand and to have the diable all movement thing UNCHECKED.
Seems he stays at max distance but still follows and heals relatively well.

if anyone else has better combinations feel free to post it up. Since we basically only have one CC it could be useful.

Hey mate, how do you turn off wand?

Edit: nevermind im blind but one problem i have is that if i disable smite it doesnt cast smite when it grinds outside the instance
