using beta build - doesn't work with 1.1.0f

Hi,

I've got the game version 1.1.0F and the bot keeps telling me that this version is not supported.

Bot: beta (0.1.1759.765)
Game: Steam - 1.1.0f

As it seems to be working for everyone else, the error might be misleading - but I can't figure what else might be wrong.

Edit: This is my first time trying to run this bot - but I've used Honorbuddy before.
Edit2: I've got all MS C++ and .NET frameworks (also used buddywizard to verify)

I also have the same problem after upgrading bot today, It completes loading but when I click "start", the window freezes. have to ctrl+alt+del to close process

Usage Information:
Please download a clean copy of the bot for the SotV update.
Please enable "Always Highlight" in the UI options. If you don't the bot will have issues with some interactions.
"Move" needs to be on your skill bar. If it is not, the bot will not move and tell you to place it there.
You should enable "Key Pickup" so the bot doesn't click on random items.
You should not leave the bot unattended in an area you have not botted before. Some areas work well, some do not. It depends on your build and the RNG of the map generation. Some areas have known issues that we cannot fix yet, because changing logic would result in other areas breaking.

Have you done that?

If yes, what PoE version are you using? (Normal, Steam, Garena)?

I checked Steam yesterday and it was still fine. I'll check again today after the Steam services comes back up. It seems Steam is having some connection issues right now.

I am using the steam version.

The version I am using has been extracted into a completely empty folder (newly downloaded).
On the startscreen the bot says that it's made for 1.1.0.6 B - the game version is 1.1.0f.

And yes, steam is down right now.

Please download and use the updated bot then.

The Beta contains more bug fixes but also might have some issues as we're trying to fix specific bugs.
The Release version is more stable, but any bug fixes in Beta are not applied yet.

When this error happens, it means there's an issue with your key.

Please login to BuddyAuth and make sure you are using the correct key. Your key has to have came from us, and you cannot be using a 3rd party patcher to run the bot. If you do have a key you purchased from us, I'll have someone from account support check your key for you to make sure there are no problems with the auth server (although I just logged in with my key and Steam, so there shouldn't be, but you know how software can be).

When you have an invalid/expired key, it'll tell you. You can also check this on your Keys page. If there's an issue with connecting to the auth server, the bot wouldn't start up. There are no other known auth server issues that cause this error.

Most problems people have with this are from using 3rd party products that are not supported. I'm not going to get into much more detail, but if you did buy a key from us, I'll ask Tony to check it over, because there's nothing else we can do to help you. If you didn't buy your key from us, then we can't really help you.
