User Kevin Spacey trying to scam people on skype/sell old version of DB

I am absolutely sure this is forbidden.
Basically i added him on skype to have an older version of DB Beta since the new one isn't working atm(he offered himself to give it in this thread: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/151424-beta-demonbuddy-beta-builds-101.html ) . After i added him check what happened.

I added him but then thought better of it, assuming he'd just attach a virus onto it and boom GG d3 accounts

Glad I didnt trust him ;)

I'll play devil's advocate and say you were the one asking for him to go out of his way to supply you with something that was unobtainable. To add, he said donate any amount you wish, which could have been $0.01. If he were to ask for more, then I probably would have reported him, but otherwise you just sound like a whiny bitch for doing so, before testing the waters.
 
Yeah, that's why he deleted all his posts where he asks people to add him on skype and changed his signature.
You guys are probably friends with him, trying to cover him but as i said before mods can look into deleted posts :)

kevin why are you wasting time responding to posts like these when you can be working on releasing a working version of CaptainAmerica's chest profile, where you'll get a lot more donations?

I'm not his friend and besides the forums I do not know him whatsoever sooooo.... I still don't believe you
 
Ill stand beside Kevin, even tho he is prob fucking people ;) his profiles fucking own.
 
his other thread has been infracted for such things, so its not so unbelieveable

i dont know the guy, or anyone else here, but pretty sure there is a track record of rules being broken, and i think still are

basically, everything not in the 'public' version, which im guessing is all the exe's and other stuff his not supposed to be redistrubuting

edit - these are just guesses though, but in my line of work, when people take usually quite open conversations, or topics, behind closed doors (that door being skype in this scenario) something is fishy

Heh, I actually haven't posted in like 1 1/2 years. Anyway, yeah... My chest profile is broken as well, because Trinity doesn't contain an XML folder anymore and I don't know where to place "TrinityOOCToggle.cs". Should fix the profile instead of looking for scraps from 408 as Mike said. :/

He just changed the skype name of that thread too, how pathetic.

Yeah lets go ahead and ban someone who is creating and sharing some of the MOST USED profiles, updating them and adding helpful info to alongside them. Hes not an admin on the forums, he doesn't compile and release updated DB versions. So why didn't you go and make a post in the official forums or search around the boards for DB instead of going into a skype convo with someone instead? So what if he gets donations here and there from people who DECIDE ON THEIR OWN they want to donate, He isn't stepping on your balls forcing your to give him money. If a few hundred people are spamming him all at once for the same thing, why shouldn't he want to pick to help out donators first all the while still helping out people who just bought a key loaded up his profile then ask for all sorts of help from him. OP reeks of baiting a hook. Go get mad elsewhere.
 
I mean we get to use his profile for free, and it's not like he specified an amount, he just asked for a donation to do extra work for you. Not really a big deal tbh and I don't care, it's not going to stop me from using his profile and I would be pissed off if he was banned from the forum :P

Nobody spammed him, he spammed multiple stimes "ask me on skype" in the DB Beta stickied thread, posts which he now deleted.
You can see the skype convo for yourself, he CLEARLY asked for money for the DB release, thing which he isn't allowed to do.
I'm sorry this is coming from a respected user such as him, but that's even a better reason to report him since he should be an example for everyone else.
I am used to think that it doesn't matter wether you are respected, well known and so on, if you break the rules in the way he just did you just get what you deserve.
 
in one of the screenshot Kevin said u can charge back in paypal...LOL u cant if u make someone donate the money paypal does NOT refund donated money.
