Urgent Issue with Botting

They probably never logged it before. At least not as extensively as now. Before they had AFK detecting system, but it was base don movements not whether d3 was in foreground or not... but yes, they could've detected it before. But also they may not have done it before and are doing it now

Well, if they are doing this to catch botters they probably wouldnt have given us the heads up with this msg

Will take a look tomorrow, it's late here now.
You could try and start it with isboxer then make sure the option "Make the game think it's in the foreground" is enabled can't remember what it's called.

We don't pay you guys to sleep dammit!

:D

VM will be the best way to avoid this issue right now. As much as that sucks bc VMs are a waste of resources. :(

Edit: Or this could simply be a scare tactic yet blizzard isnt monitoring it. I am sure there are thousands of botters and if they are monitoring this they would be spammed with these messages non-stop... doesn't seem like they would actually monitor... who knows... guess its always better to be safe.

Do you guys think blizz is using this to detect botters? I don't think so, because if they were they wouldn't literally make it say "You are away" on the screen they'd log it so that you can't see it.

Although it does leave a footprint.

I just wish my TeamViewer didn't do that stupid exit message so that I can at least use my 3 computers to bot.

You are right there, still it is a possibility.

It's been running like this forever, so just because now they have an AFK message for it means nil.

They could've used it to flag people before but haven't, so nothing to worry about.

It would be great if we could get official word on this matter. Is it safe to bot like this, should we w8 for devs to get a workaround ? Should we all just spend a fucking 50$/year for isboxer ?

I send a ticket to blizzard asking if the new afk message is for detecting bots. I attached a youtube video of my bot and a video of me playing manually, to the ticket, so they clearly see what I mean. As soon as I get an answer I will let you know.
