I tried to follow the guide - [GUIDE] VMware + D3 | they way it shoud be done, but i am just no good with the bat files =P.Soo i did the old fashion way.I made a 37 g hd, with 3 g memory host machine.I installed windons 7, dialbo 3 and db.Diablo 3 and db are running ,but d3 are soo slow and laggy, but the game still slow. There is anything i can do to improve the pefomance? ( i have a asus g74s - g force 560 m 3g i dont think is the computer).

Thx in advance for the help

in the guest machines make sure all unneeded services and programs are not running, since you wanna squeeze every last bit of performachine out of it. just saving a cpu cycle and a little memory here or there, can go a long way.

I'm having a bit of the same problems myself, I've created 4 virtual machines that are running fine (2 cores, 2.6GB ram) but when I try to get a 5th machine up and running CPU is more or less always at 100% and I start to run out of RAM.I've got a i5 [email protected] with 16GB 1600mhz ram. Atm I have distributed 2.6GB ram to each machine, and when I try to lower it it starts complaining about how it is running out of memory. But the thing is that none of my virtual machines are using more then max 1.85GB? Anything I can do about that? How low FPS can you use before the bot "smartness" is starting to suffer from it?

any tips on how you run the machines on the first place, what windons you are using, what you custumise on the machine?

I am running w7 64, should i go for w7 32 or dont make that much difference?

What kind of graphics card do you have? I don't understand what the hell is wrong with my setup. Even 1 VM is incredibly slow and 2 is undoable. I have i5-2500k overclocked to 3.7ghz with 12gb of ram and i can't go over 2.4 or so gb of ram. I dont understand it doesn't sound like a CPU issue cause i enabled all the cores, and tried 1 core as well. If you can run 4 VMs with 16gb ram I should be able to do at least 3 with 12gb. Could it graphics card? it doesnt seem like it but I dont know. Graphics sometimes crashes. But my graphics card isnt that bad, it's a gtx460 overclocked.
