Ok so I've been using HB in questing mode to level a couple of new toon and keep running in to the same problem infrequently. Hb will go to the flightmaster to update the flying list, and then just stand there....for hours. If you close out the taxi map it will reopen it. If you take one of the flight points, it will fly back to the flight master you were at, and then open the map, and continue to stand there. Only way to fix it is to restart honorbuddy. Log attached

Hi, Scrubbish, and thanks for the log!

Your log shows clear signs of cache corruption. Below you will find the steps for the remedy...

If you want to help HBdev squish this bug once and for all:
  • Go to the HB/Cache directory and find the #######.cqc file(s)
  • Since the forum won't allow *.cqc to be directly uploaded, Zip the *.cqc files along with your log.
  • Upload the Zipped file to the Honorbuddy Bug Reports thread with a short description of the problem you encountered
To get you going again, here's how to repair the cache issue:
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy
Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:
  • You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
  • You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
  • There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.
If you're not off-and-away after this, please post a fresh log.

Thanks China I will get that file uploaded to bug reporst right away. What would the other triggers that would cause cache corruption be? I do not run more than one session of HB per machine, and this problem occurs frequently out of the blue without having logged out or switching characters. I commonly see this most often when the toon is moving to a new quest hub. it will go the flightmaster to update the nodes, and get stuck.
 
its not as it getting corrupted as your forcing wow to rebuild that information.
 
if your wow was dcec and you logged back or you changed chars without restarting both Hb and WoW,flightpaths will bug
 
Yes I assumed that from the statement China made, but it's doing it without any of the above happening.
 
do you have any wow addons enabled?
 
Yes, a loot addon to take care of the problem of HB not clicking accept on looting bop items and auctionator.
 
Actually yes I have. Doing what she suggested is the only thing that will get the bot working again. I also uploaded the log and cache file to the bug report thread to maybe get this thing sniffed out to prevent it from continuing to happen. Part of why i use the quest bot is because i want to level toons for farming, without sitting at keys, but with this problem I have to babysit the bot to keep the toons leveling along.
