Updater.exe.bak Error.

I launch my Archebuddy it downloads the updates but then closes and the updater.exe becomes updater.exe.bak. When I change the extension back to exe it launches and starts downloading but then closes and changes back to updater.exe.bak. I've tried a fresh install and that does the same thing.

How can I fix that?

Gosh, week ago it was without false positives. AV companies kidding me.

That repack fixed it for me.

Another machine started having the issue randomly. The repack is not working on it.

No logs are being generated, the fail occur just about instantly. Moving the updater to an empty folder and running it still work. It always seem to fail when reading even freshly after a reboot and with no antivirus on the vm.

In this specific case, deleting the old updater.exe.back seem to have fixed it.

Just got the 3 day trial and the updater just disappears after first launch. any help will be appreciated
