updated item rules 2 guide?

is there an updated guide to item rules 2?

the one in Guides section by darkfriend himself is totally outdated.

anyway, i can't seem to make DB load my custom rules.
what i did was, i copied the hard rules folder to a different place and customized it.

so i went to trinity config, set to script based rules and in the new tab selected the option to custom and browsed to the folder with my rules.
so far so good, i saved the settings and reloaded DB but it never loads the rules itself just:

[01:08:55.873 N] [YetAnotherRelogger] Recieved MonsterPowerLevel: 4
[01:08:55.975 N] Waiting 6.9 seconds before next game...

and it's the same if i just select hard instead of custom.

what am i missing?

Replace the files in the real "hard" folder with your custom ones and select hard in Trinity.

looks like YAR is doing something there.... try using Custom and selecting the path yourself

that's what i did.
i also tried just using the regular hard rules.

i'll make a separate DB folder for this and try to load the rules first by hand, without YAR.

or with YAR, place them in that folder it says it's pulling from "C:\DIABLO\YAR\Rules" in your case

that's how it was from the beginning.

thing is, you gotta load the rules in DB before starting the bot, so you gotta do it without the interference of YAR.
