Update>Error>Repear bot

I keep getting this error when I update, but I don't see how to post it because I don't see it in my logs. I saw in a thread somewhere that RB updates and the error is only during the clean up. I found that thread here https://www.thebuddyforum.com/rebornbuddy-forum/rebornbuddy-support/178200-patching-error.html but this didn't work for me. The square check always comes back to the check box Will this ever be fixed? It's becoming extremely annoying for me.

Try doing a clean install.

I have done that, thinking that would fix it before. I still have the same problem.

I don't understand the problem. You say you cant post a log then take a screenshot.

The file is read-only. Change it from read-only and you should be fine.

I tried that. The box is checked with a square, when I take it off the square in the check box just comes back when I reopen the file properties.

If there is an UpdaterBackup folder in the RB folder, try deleting that.
