It saddens me that you're implying that the OP didn't know that, while all he did was ask hawker something about the difficulties the changes may present :(
 
I was wondering more about the next patch, ie Cataclysm. How significant a "change" is that going to be, ie is this a big HB dev team issue, or only a small bump? I just hate to think about the bot being up for only 2-3 days to be back down next Monday for a crushingly long delay again. Don't get me wrong, I don't care how long it takes, it's worth the wait, and I'd take one day of it working anytime, over one day of it not.
 
Blizzard made many quests available only for given pairs of race, class.

Check A Boyhood Dream - Quest - World of Warcraft for example. Only available for night elves, undeads, gnomes of class warrior, hunter or rogue.

Why on earth? Don't know it myself.

That kind of quests will be supported on the upcoming release if you're a quest bot user. But it more likely means that every questing profile made until now can be thrown away. Therefore, the devs are also working on new questing profiles.

Now, just think about the required amount of work you need to check a questing profile for each class and each race.
 
Well, official questing profiles is something everyone would very much like :p
 
Hawker has already released some questing profiles in the past, you know.
 
Nesox recently finished the <If> <ElseIf> and <Else> tags for profiles. He'll probably add some documentation on how to use them.

They'll allow you to ensure you're a certain race/class for quests, only do quests when you have specific items, etc.

remember its against the rules to make threads @ a specific forum member, however since its a legitimate discussion instead of just calling someone out. ill allow it to live, just dont do it again.

Nice; was anything added to accept quests that just randomly appear in the quest tracker like A Lashtail Hatchling and same question but turning in via this method? Or any sort of interaction with npc's like completing quest dialogue (clicking through the text options).

Im hoping Nesox will make a <LoadProfile></LoadProfile> tag so it allows loading external profiles. so the main profile will be nice and clean. But its only in my imagination now. Profiles as they are now are too messy. Imagine to have all quests into one file from 1-85. Instead of adding files like 1-10.xml and include them into the main profile.

Well its nice to see someone actually reads my posts lol! anyways i was trying to explain myself later in that thread that it wasnt really supposed to be a question (I tried to edit out the question mark in the title but i cant, sorry) or anything that i feel they are doing specifically to destroy bots and as Kick said in that thread i feel they are making the game more fun and enjoyable for the "Real" players but it just so happens that it is really making it difficult on botting software as the types of changes they made are exactly what HB CANT do YET :).... But its nice to see some more unique quest types available as i do actually play the game on my main account quite a bit!

And thank you Nesox! I will definately use that to finish my troll starting area! (as of now it starts at level 4 after the first 6 quests!)

to be honest i have loved the new quest lines, although i highly doubt a bot could run them! either way im 60 and bored now, time to wait for the return of honorbuddy in order to grind to 80 i think!haha
 
You are really trying to do questing profiles with honorbuddy?! wtf get a grind profile and do mixed mode or instancebuddy runs (or herb / mine with gatherbuddy to get exp), then you will be fine ^^
