Unusual account acvitity - all characters wiped?!

Hello,

I have started DB a couple of times and always received an error. I saw the solution to this was to log in ,and then start DB. I tried this, but when logging it, Battle.Net told me that there have been unsual account activity, and my account was locked. I could re-store / open it by changing password or answering my security question. So I did.

I logged in, and the first thing I see is "Create a new character" screen. WTH?! Where is my old characters and my gold :/?

You have been hacked and the hacker has changed your default login location from US to EU or whatever. At login options, change it back and all will be well.
