Whenever there's a patch, you have to wait for the bot to be updated.

There was a random late night patch tonight, so that is why you see the error.

How come the standalone client works but not the steam-version one doesn't?

That's how GGG does most of their patches nowadays. They don't have to take down the server so if you're already connected and botting, you won't have an issue until you D/C or restart the client.

Ah OK, so how long will it take until the bot works with the steam client?

Why use it with steam client? start it manually and you wont have problems
