My DH has zero ias on it and hits over 400k gph...

Don't see how this will effect us at all.
 
Now that I think about it, you're probably right. Give up all other stats for +GF% and +Pickup Radius. Although that's assuming they don't have any changes for Sarkoth non-movement
 
Even if Sarkoth is nerfed in the next patch, you can still do NM azmo runs just fine with GF gear and a little DPS. You should 1 hit nearly everything, not too mention your follower should be equipped with a nice weapon to 1 hit as well. For actually playing the game non - bottin the DH will feel the nerf from the lowered IAS, but for botting it will not be a big deal.
 
Are there new patchnotes leakedand they say what the actually gonna do with IAS? Cause they said they gonna nerf IAS on like a week ago.. so thats old news.

EDIT: Oh shit just read the patchnotes.. my 200k dps DH not gonna like these changes. Better sell items in RMAH before patch. :P
 
WTF are they nuts? This will break any class no matter how much they nerf inferno the ias nerf will void it.. great job fucking blizzard~ that's more then 50% nerf to ias which means its a direct nerf to critdamage as well as life leech and life on hit as well as any other onhit effect... do they even play their own god damn game? I've gone the way of crit change/damage with my wizard and now hit around 150k dps buf after this change it will be like 70k tops.. great job really.. I wish they'd play their own god damn game for once no matter how hard they nerf inferno which wont be anywhere near a 50-100% nerf it will not make up for the IAS nerf the way it is right now!
 
Im just annoyed I have to sell my weapon now (and fine a new one) before the patch goes live :/
 
The IAS nerf isn't going to hurt DH that bad. At least not good DHs. Yes, we won't shoot as fast, so you don't stack IAS, and instead build your DH proper, and stack Crit Damage, with some IAS. You still want to shoot quicker than normal, but I hit like a truck. I easily have over 350+k crits, and can 1 shot certain mobs in Inferno Act 3/4. It's all about proper gearing, the stacking IAS was just an easy way out.
 
well it won't effect barb inferno farming that's for sure. No room for IAS as it is.

You DO realize that WDs have not been affected by this patch right. only typo fixes, no mechanic changes so they will fine.

I know there aren't any changes to the WD character itself but I was referring to the IAS nerf. +IAS% is important to everyone but I was merely trying to gauge which class relies on it more and which classes will be most affected by this to us botters.

the IAS nerf really wont affect WDs though. the only class even partially affected by this will DHs that build improperly.
 
The only WD's that will be affected by the IAS changes will be Poison Dart/Splinter builds. Those using ZB/VQ builds shouldn't see too many problems, of course I think WD's have more to worry about at the moment, than just IAS (in regards to pets, the majority of their spells being basically worthless in inferno etc.) Their CC is rocking, but the majority of their offensive attacks are just complete garbage outside of the two major builds.
 
I agree, I initially rolled a WD, and I loved him, but Inferno, is just so annoying with him. I hope they buff his damage at some point, to where there are actual builds that don't require VQ or ZB.
 
Agreed, I'd have rolled a DH but they are so bloody boring and couldn't bring myself to get past level 10. I may just bot my wizard up to max level and swap all my gear over and see how it goes with that, but I don't wanna give up on my WD just yet. If pets are buffed, I could see it helping so much.
