That's weird. I watched an entire run and some parts of other runs and this didn't happen at all for me

My act1 profile, starts at a random act chooser (start_here.xml) then from there goes to each individual act. In this case it is start_act1.xml. At the end of each profile, it will call the start_act#.xml, reload until it has done all the profiles and then call the start_here.xml act chooser and reload the game. Maybe is because I am using a tiered structure? But it is repeating frequently.

I see. But unfortunately I can't help you with the code since I can't even help myself with code.
You should try starting a new thread somewhere or maybe asking devious21, he ought to know how to fix that.

Installation is exactly the same as the original GilesTrinity. It does work with 282, I can guarantee you that

If possible - please add lastes version that Nesox (DB developer) fixed (bug with new DB or so). He did it 1 day ago and updated Giles post (download one)

It is already implemented on all downloadable versions (since v0.19)

Is it me or is the unified giles slowing down the runs.

With Bombtastic's giles, i was pulling 40-45min per run on my barb, now it's at 1hr+ @ mp3

ok, if no one can helps with merge unified+item rules i do it by myself, here is updated UnifiedGilesTrinity_v0.24 with this item rules:

for all who don't want wait darkfriend77 for updates - you can update it by yourself, just use _http://diffchecker.com for find differens in .cs files (1 - new ver. of this Unified plugin, and 2 - Item Rules by darkfriend77 .cs file).
