Understanding Profiles[HELP]

Hello guys, first of all i would like to say sorry for being a beginner in DB and i did the best i could in understanding it on my own by reading the forums..apparently i still need to ask some things. ( I noticed some of you like to harass and trash those who have no notion of coding or how to use a software).



I have acquired today DB and managed to get it to bot for a while...I tried 2 profiles.

A1-Weeping Hollow - Wynects Edition
VotA Oasis.

When playing in the Weeping Hollow profile..my monk enters in a loop at a random point and starts teleporting for the rest of his life!

VotA Oasis does a bit more than that and I'm able to look at the screen getting stuck several times..killing a couple more mobs..getting stuck again..

I know that DB is working properly, i also know that things can be done..many of you are doing it without issues..but please point me in the right direction..The reason i have decided to go boting in D3..is simply because it's killing my hands..i can't even get to scratch my...nose because i have to ram all my fingers in the keyboard.





I noticed some packs with very good rating but...i have one issue..i don't understand how i can load multiple profiles. In the user manual it's an option that in the current version of DB isn't there anymore.

I only have Load a website profile and Recent profiles.

click the "Load" (the word itself, not the arrow next to it) to load different profiles.
Not so much they get grumpy and harrass. It's more get grumpy because few people actually read the stickys that were put up to help people and just make a new post. More of a "smart enough to install this, smart enough to read a sticky first" thing. Tends to frustrate people watching others pull on a door when it's clearly labeled push..

Don't need to explain why you bot either. Everyone has their reasons. Some do it for laziness, some do it so they can go out on a date, etc. I use it because I have handicaps and I'd rather spend time with my son than play the same shat over and over and over and over again to attain decent gear.

I understand what you're saying, and thank you for your answer. But i was confused by the fact that DemonBuddy in their manual states that you can load MULTIPLE profiles and loop between them.

I have tried several profiles, I didn't manage to get one that actually can function properly, I understand that more than 70-80% may be my fault ..because I haven't set up the things properly in DB settings. And I don't even know what settings to "play" with in order to ease my gaming experience.

I told my reasons because I've noticed that many players use it to make money out of it.. I , my friend...simply am a cheater.

Do you think you can tell me a good profile which could run for hours and simply help me get my Paragon level up? It's all i need.

The Zorked Decaying Crypt Profile in Act 1 profiles is pretty popular. I have a low dps (180kish at para 0) that does mp10 at between 60-110 mill exp/hour, and that's for the crypt. That profile also has a FOM only for more exp(I think..I just do the crypt for legs).
In a Rush-Oasis in Act 2 profiles is pretty good as well. I ran this on my barbs cause I have a tyraels chest with the +dmg demons..

They probably used to run multiple profiles(unless more than one xml is considered multiple profiles, then they still do) but blizz changed the game entry screen so you can't have a act1-act2-act1 profile.. just down to acts that use the same quest I believe you can link them up.

At least your not lazy, friend of mine did this cause he was lazy and realized he ended up doing more with profile editing than he would by actually playing the game.

Thanks for your help, you say your low dps barb is at 170k ? mine only has 130k ..and i'm proud of it...




Can't quite understand what to upgrade to get it better..i'm in a tilt..

What upgrade depends on your spec really. are you a using a skorn, 2 1 handers, etc.. if you can, do a print screen of your gear, stats, and build and I might be able to lend some advice. my mp10 set only cost me 20 mill, but now the prices have sky rocketed. Still using the same set too.
