As titles states. Looks like this is going to be a nice banwave tonight folks!
 
I have not been banned but i got this message... does this mean i am banned?

This is what i got after clicking the link:
This account has been locked to prevent an attempted account theft.
 
I've been around long enough to know 10-20 bans does not a banwave make.....when there are 50 threads with 20 to 30 banned in it then we can talk.....we could easily be looking at reports and linked accounts going down together......call me when the numbers excalate a hell of a lot more than this....
 
DB legends carguy... devious getting banned, this is not good news. i just checked and my 26 are safe for now, but i moved everything to a different account and gonna cool off the botting for the next few days. better safe than sorry. lets try to figure out whats going on

Make sure to unload what you can as well (sell for actual cash); as mule accounts don't seem to be safe either for whatever reason. The account I log on probably 1 hour total a week who hasn't touched a bot in a year and a half was the first to go. Fortunately I sold the 8 billion i had sitting on it on Monday.
 
I got 3 accounts banned as well, all from the same computer, created and lvld at the same time 2 weeks ago.
Other accounts are safe.
That's not a banwave but they re getting more and more active against bots these last weeks

You shuoldnt be worried about that... It seems to be something they do to all new accounts at least once... My three new accounts all got that within a week. I think they try to scare you to setup either mobile security or purchase a security key.

they said "changed login behavior" in my case

That's actually a very interesting coincidence - I sold the few billion gold I had sitting around on Sunday.
Maybe they're tracking gold sales and using them to find the bots? Wouldn't explain why two of mine lived, but still.
 
lets try again. i find it very strange that they can ban an account that has not broken the eula. there are multiple places that shares IP. internet cafe and such, shared connection thourgh other places also. lets say u have a family of 4 where all play D3 if 1 of thoose bot and get banned, they cant punish all of em. i find that very hard to belive.
