[UNBAN] Template Letters

Got a perma ban for abuse of the economy, used template A and it was degraded to a 72-hour suspension.

there is someone on owned core who will write you several personalized letters for 8 USD and he has a super high success rate.
 
If you have played 24/7 for 3 days, you could say "i was on the amphetamine".. i'm certainly going to say that

(And done that aswell, but that's another story)


REMEMBER: BLIZZ CHECKS THIS FORUM, SO CHANGE A LOT IN THE TEMPLATE!!
 
Just got banned.

Its weird... really weird.
It was maintenance, and while it was maintenance I was still able to buy things off the auction house, as mentioned in the message.
Straight after the maintenance was over, I got banned. Maybe its because I bought stuff from the auction house while it was maintenance?

I am writing to appeal a ban made on my World of Warcraft account. The account I am writing about is WOW1 on the battle.net account

This morning, before the maintenance was over, I was still able to check the auction house on my cell-phone without any problems at all.
After attempting to login to my account after the maintanance was over, a message appeared stated "This World of Warcraft account has been closed and is no longer avaible for use.", I'm unaware of anything I did wrong.

I hope you can resolve this issue as I am angry, upset and sad by the discovery?s I have recently made.

I just got this mail.

Offense: Use of Bots or Third-Party Automation Software

Blizzard Entertainment has terminated this World of Warcraft license after identifying the usage of bots or other cheat software.

These programs (commonly called cheats, bots, and hacks) automate certain aspects of gameplay, or provide unintended advantages and abilities to the player. This type of cheating undermines other players' experience and severely upsets the balance of the game environment.

As expected, I got unbanned.
When I first heard I was banned I wasn't freaking out at all, I was just 100% sure I would get unbanned.

This is their answer to my ticket:

We have reduced your penalty, and instead applied a 72 hour suspension and Final Warning to your World of Warcraft account. It is with regret that we take this type of action; however, it is in the best interests of the World of Warcraft community as a whole and for the integrity of the game. After your suspension has expired, you will be able to access the World of Warcraft servers again.

Please note that should any further violations of our Rules and Policies occur, this incident will be taken into consideration when determining the consequences to your account. This could include further warnings, account suspension or account termination.

Are you sure? I have the feeling that they will be watching over me 24/7... As they said, it was the last warning and if anything like this happens again my account will be permanently bannd.

Hello!

My account got terminated yesterday for using a third-party software, i was farming with honorbuddy..

I used a modified version of Template #2 in my appeal, and got my termination removed and replaced by a 72h ban instead! It works if you choose your words wisely, all in all GGWP!
 
I used this and got unbanned today.

I was using Brodie's MoP dailies and must've gotten caught at some point (I left the computer for 20 minutes to help my wife with something). This was a US server. I typically use HB for maybe 4 hours a day now, since there's not a lot of content left.

I was issued a permanent ban. I used Template B, and this morning I woke up and they had changed it to a 72 hour suspension. Really grateful for that.
 
No offense but if I was devious, and I am, and Blizz then I would get on this site and put out a few "templates" of letters to unban accounts. That way we could have a better idea if accounts are being botted. These letters are like the marked money the police use in drug stings.
 
No offense, but that just sounds like you used too much foil on your hat. After having read the templates, they all seem reasonable and not too far outside of the norm that it's unbelievable to think someone might use their same reasoning. Blizzard's money would be better spent on detecting the bot rather than trying to throw us curve balls on forums. My 2 cents...

LOL, better to be paranoid with foil on my head than with egg on my face.
