Ok so I got to test it a little, and I think it has great potential. I like that I can set which kind of CC each CC-break will break (tongue-twister)
I did run into some issues:
- Every Man for Himself didn't work, no matter what I tried. I could get Desecrated ground to work, so the plugin is working, just not the Human racial. I only tested Desecrated ground and Lichborne..didn't test pvp trinket or any of the the other options.
- Selecting the minimum duration is a little confusing. If I want to break a cc over 4.5 seconds I set it as 4500? This could be a little easier to understand: 'Don't break CC under XX.X secs' user selects or types the XX.X...something like that.
- Selecting which CC type to break with each spell is a little confusing, simply because we as players are not used to knowing the actual cc effect, we only know the name of the CC (eg Polymorph is an incapacitate, but few probably know this). This makes it confusing to know what CC types I should be selecting for my Lichborne spell, and all spells actually. Also I think WoD reduced all CC down to 5 types? Not sure about this. I know it would take effort, but I think the most usable way is to keep the list as you have it now, but when you mouse over the CC type in the list (e.g. Incapacitate) it shows you a list of all spells that have that effect. That way I can search for which CC type to select if I want to break fear.
- On that note, Fear is a disorient (I discovered on wowhead) so I set Lichborne to break disorients, however I don't think it breaks all disorients (??). So will the plugin be used on a disorient CC but not actually break that CC (if it is not fear)?
- I don't want the plugin to ever break sap, but I do want to break polymorph. However both are incapacitate CC. This is a big problem, and will be a problem for any serious arena players wanting to buy this. I think Sap needs its own spot in the list, simply because it is so unique for PvP. It is almost always better to sit in a sap of any length at the start of the fight (and if desperate I can push the button myself to break it).'
This is all the feedback I have now from a quick test. I will do more testing tonight.

My suggestion wasn't to add all the spells, just when you select 'disoriented' in the list you can see what spells that applies to (the user doesn't have to do anything more than select Disorient in the list, but they get more information about what spells it will break).
Hmm When I go to fear on wowhead, it shows as Buff: Fear = Disoriented (just under the spell).
I will take some time setting up my own prefered settings and see how close I can get it to perfect. Although I will need Every Man for himself working
I couldn't select Silence in the list in your plugin. Trinket and Every man for himself break silence (as far as I am aware)
Lastly can we set the preferred order on breaking CCs? If I have all my cooldowns and get feared I want it to use Lichborne, not desecrated ground, and not everyman for himself...How is this done?

I didn't have much time last night to test, but I did find two things. I wanted to test just Icebound fortitude on it's own. 1. I couldn't delete all my Desecrated ground settings. I would delete them, and close the plugin, and immediately open the plugin and they were all back. I had to delete them in the actual spells file in honorbuddy directory. 2. After I did delete everything, and set up Icebound Fortitude to break stuns of 4000ms it wouldn't work. I tested it many times and nothing would happen. I checked the spells file and it did have it correctly there, but just wouldn't work. Not sure what I have to do, or what the problem was. That was the extent of my testing last night. I will try more tonight, especially with EveryMan.
I do understand it would be a lot of work, but if it worked easier more people might buy it, so it would pay off for you to get it working really well by just downloading and using, without needing to do anything![]()
Hey mate, off topic, but do you know if there is a totem stomper plugin that works?
It is a plugin that will kill totems as soon as they are dropped (eg Spirit Link). I guess the best way would be to select the totems you want to kill, in the order you prefer, and you select which of your abilities should be used to kill it, or melee/range attack.
The WowMechanic Tracking plugin, is that for Ultimate Trinket. I actually haven't looked at the Ultimate Trinket lately or used it, simply because I couldn't get it to work optimally the way I would need it to for higher rated arena. I do use the Interrupt plugin (though I would still love to be able to select which spells to interrupt depending on which interrupt I select).
Can you explain what the WoWMechanic Tracking Plugin does?
