I lowered the max combat range and combat search range by a lot and it seems to be running pretty well now. still a few hangups now and then but much better. even with the few issues ive had this is an excellent plugin! thanks for your help and quick feedback. Great work guys!! :D

Yea the Combat Range and Search Range variables are dependent heavily on your class. IE: Melee classes obviously need to be closer to attack, while ranged classes can kind of stand back. I would suggest lowering it drastically if you're a melee class as it has to venture further out to find a suitable target.

Yes i was thinking the same but as far as i have seen i have turned off alt the auto option in my CR wich is TuanHA by the way.

Any suggestions for another CR ? If getting a new one is your suggestion ?
 
Does anyone have this working correctly? Seriously... my Frost DK sits on his mount for minutes at a time then runs to a battle (usually through it to be precise) and then runs back and forth from target to target rarely getting more than one or two whacks on a any one opponent. Then mounts up runs 15 - 20 yards dismounts stands around a bit, then mounts, takes a few steps, dismounts, stands around, then mounts, takes a few steps, dismounts, and then he occasionally does actual fighting maybe 10-15% of the time where he generally gets "owned" even though I have mainly purple Primal gear (Head, Chest, Legs, Shoulders, and 2-H Axe) - everything else is blue PvP Gear from Ashran. My Item level is 681. I've use the "paid" TuanHa's DK CR with movement and targeting off, all of the settings suggested in the video (and here) for distances and such and nothing. Tried the same for Singular, similar if not worse results. I look so "botish" it's not even funny. Thank goodness most people in Ashran are to busy kicking ass (mostly mine) to notice my dumbass is bottish...

So, does anyone have specific settings that are working for TunaHA's DK routine and "Ultimate Ashran"?

[01:35:21.845 N] [Ultimate Ashran - Settings] Setting Max Combat Range to 15


Stick Search Range to 65 or so and set Max Combat Range to 35-45. That should solve it.

Included are the settings I use with my dk. Also drop Frost and go Tank. If you are a melee and not a tank, you are doing it wrong in Ashran.

I use Singullar even though I think Singular is a huge pile of crap and it can lag you to shit in massive combat. At least with Singular when you turn off targeting and movement, it actually stays off.
 
Worked fine on DPS, but my healer is not healing. What did I miss? I am using Singular for Disc Priest. He stays with group, but always mounted.
 
Also, on my dps toon, he completely 'rambos' into the alliance and never falls back when his health is down. I thought he would automatically fall back when below 75% health. He's always the one pushing the farthest in (he's melee).

Is your CC movement on? That would be the only thing that would cause it to run head long in and never return. Healer not healing sounds like Combat Assist % is too high. Lower that value to like 10-15 and it will always go into combat.

That helped with the dps issue (thanks!), but the healer combat assist is at default (10) and so that's not the issue.

Is the box checked next to the 10? Does it dismount? Can you give me a pic of those options or a log?

Followed yours settings exactly and it didn't work... actually it got worse... now he just runs to the battle and stands there mounted and does nothing. He doesn't even dismount even when being attacked... if I force dismount him while he's getting his ass handed to himself instead of defending himself he re-mounts, then dies.. wash-rinse-repeat... this used to work fine until the last big patch now it don't work for shit... very frustrating...

Melee DPS are death magnets in Ashran and that if you want to survive at all go spec Blood. There is also no way for it to not dismount before it runs to the target in my code. If the target is less od a distance than your combat search range then it will dismount. So either your CC is running to the target (where the movement in your CC should be off) or your Search Range is almost 0. I am guessing if you are using Tuanha's that the Movement is on. Try Speccing blood and try using Singular with Targeting and Movement off and let me know if that fixes it.
