Ultima - The Ultimate Combat Routine

It should Steel Cyclone though if you are in defiance stance. The only thing I can think of is that you may have grabbed just the methods and behavior files from the zip and did not replace "Routines\UltimaCR\Spells\Main\WarriorSpells.cs" which is required because I needed to modify that to get Steel Cyclone working.

Question for anyone here, is there anyway to reload ultima / your routines without restarting the bot? I'm thinking of doing some significant reworking of the job routines... for example, using the enmity plugin intelligently for tanks, adding party conscious card usage to astrologians, refining blm cause everyone keeps asking about that, etc. But that whole restarting to see my changes would be soooooo annoying.

Hi mate, I actually missed your message. I was looking for a more... smart rotation to the class. At the moment, Shadowflare sometimes cancels casting then does nothing for a bit. The casting order seems a bit off from what I've been learning and There should really be a priority list after initial opener burst occurs. The Summoner thread of the DPS forums(English) goes in depth with this and does a thorough job

Here is what I use currently for summoner, though I don't know exactly what files were changed and how they would affect any other customized classes (I am using default Ultima for all other classes): View attachment Ultima.zip

Without relaunching? Yes. Without restarting? No.

As long as you know to stop the bot before updating the file, you can update on the fly and test changes by setting "ReloadRoutinesOnFileChange" to 'true' in the GlobalSettings.json file in the Settings folder. Note that RB will crash if the bot is running when you update the routine. However, if it is stopped, then after updating it will immediately reload and use the changes when you hit Start again.

Thanks, I'll check yours out.. I've only sorta made an opener and fixed it so it only spams ruinIII with dreadwyrm trance up.. and I suck, so seeing other modifications helps me understand stuffs..

tried it out yesterday, its pretty decent. Sometimes clips a few spells or doesnt go into dreadwyrm if you kinda interrupt it but the rest on how it handles spells is nice. some tweaking and it'd be great

Ooh awesome, that's just what i needed. I'll compare my smn work with yours and see if i can take the best from both and post. From there, i'll start working on the other jobs. Since BLM has been getting a lot of demand, i'll take a shot at that first.
 
Hi I was just curious, does the MCH routing have an aoe component? It seems to do the same thing whether i have it on single vs multi mode.
 
Mkay took a look at Cloud's SMN work. I'd recommend using his. Mine performs similarly well but his has a few additional things that I think are ultimately more beneficial.
 
He hasn't been active in three months. Who knows if he will return for 3.1 May have to rely on another combat routine.

depending on what you're looking for, Ultimate doesn't really perform that bad, and there's always the one newb is releasing.. really soon.. hopefully

the SVN rev has been 59 for a while so it seems like the answer is no.

Feel kinda sad given the big donation I gave to this CR.
but I only want something that works with bard at this point.

Reading comments from Entrax and others, I thought Ultima did fine for brd
 
Thanks for the replies. Turns out I am an idiot - hadn't used it for so long I forgot I needed to hit "Start" :P
