[UCR] The Bestia Magister

I'm back for two days. I'll answer a few questions. The CR is for both PvE and PvP and infact PvP is actually better supported than PvE. There's one big issue with the CR and I'm gonna work to fix it, after that the rotation should run a lot more smoothly and queue the spells properly.

I recommend using the Dev SVN for now, it'll get more frequent updates and hopefully it will have major improvements
 
As it turns out, HB has been returning global cooldown as 0 all the time which has been completely fucking us over. Hopefully now I can finally fix the issues we've been having :|

Within an hour.

Edit: 1.2.0 released (both in Dev and pub SVN)

Just fixes a few bigger issues and a bunch of small ones.

There's still a lot of room for improvement and new features, unfortunately mine and Mirabises' time is pretty limited these days but we'll keep working on this CR, even if the developement is a bit slow :)

Oh and for this release I recommend you set your Custom Lag tolerance to twice your latency.

Okay so I went ahead and ran some of my on tests on a Raider Target Dummy and these are the stats that I came up with.
I'm a BM Hunter 487Ilvl. The only buffs I had on were Flask of Spring BLossoms and 275 Food buff. I ran it with two different CC's for BM.

Raid Bot:
The Beastia Magister CC: 87k DPS Burst\65k Steady.
Bowman's/Falldowns (Beast master)CC: 89k Burst\82k Steady

Lazy Raider:
The Beastia Magister CC:71k Burst\62k Steady
Bowman's/Falldowns (Beast master)CC:72k Burst\68k Steady


So as you can see, Raid bot made a HUGE increase in DPS for me. Also, I know TBM is still in Beta phase and it depends upon the tweaks you make, but I'll stick with Bowmans for now with Raidbot! I hope that you guys can get this CC working even better than the Bowman/Falldown one! Good work and keep it up!

Yeah I noticed my old one is still pulling ahead. I'm still optimizing the casting method and tweaking the rotation and there will be improvements in the near future :p

I did some research, and it seems that Focus Fire is always enabled :P?

#Developer SVN has received a update to the core, should be a performance increase.
Something Falldown had been fiddling for quite some days :)
 
Getting better results with Tyrael over lazy raider. Putting that out there, 7-10k dps difference on training dummies
 
I'm doing a few more tests and then uploading a new dev version to the SVN. Hopefully it'll be a DPS boost but I'm relying on you guys to test and let me know that.

For the up coming version I request that you set your Custom lag tolerance all the way to 400ms, this should allow for the CR the queue spells asap.

Edit: Also don't let testing on dummies be the only judge when comparing this CR to my previous ones. The way the handle fights versus dummies are different and this one should be improved when dealing with actual targets.

Edit2: Just an FYI there is no framelock support in this CC so no need to enable it, won't do you any good, but it might make things worse.

Did I read right? This is a combination of Bowman and Beast Master, so it supports both BM and SV hunters? Just wondering if I was understanding that correctly, because while SV is slightly behind BM, it's still viable for raiding. It's just a smaller margin.

Also, those are my two specs; BM and SV. I've never been able to tolerate MM.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I used this briefly today while running the Chemical Co. dungeon and I love the UI it has. I love how the options are set up and everything. I was getting around 40k steady dps with ilvl 450 gear. I was using a jormungar worm (the ghost one during one of the dailies in the Hodir area) with the burrow attack. I can see the potential in the routine. It's looking really good.

SV isn't supported, yet. The good thing with the CR base though is that it'll be pretty easy to add in SV rotation but there are other things I want to work on before that. So for now its just BM for both PvE and PvP.

Ah, darn. I was really hoping I could switch back to SV. There's only one routine for SV right now, and I haven't tried it yet. I know I used yours during Cataclysm in Dragon Soul, and it was great. I don't see it on the boards anymore, sadly, but I suppose that's because it doesn't work properly with the new talents and such? I just tried PureRotationi with SV and it just wasn't quite what yours was. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go back to BM until SV is put into this routine.
 
I've been using this routine predominantly with my raiding, however, I still usually swap over to Pure and go survival on the trash. Would love to see the survival added into this.

Your raid waits for you to switch routines? In order for me to switch routines I have to stop HB, then close it, then open it back up and wait for it to load, then choose my routine. That takes about 3 to 4 minutes. Right now, for SV, I'm using Pasterke's Boogman SV routine. It does pretty well. I've been getting top, or second, dps in dungeon groups while I build a LFR set of gear so I can hit the LFRs.
