Tyr's Hand - Heavy Lockboxes.

Hi, I would love a profile and mesh for Tyrs Hand in Eastern Plaugelands.
This will require both an mesh, an profile and a new kind of custom class
rogues that will go stealth mode an initialize with an "Pick Pocket" cast
before combat(best would be if we could screw the combat full and just pick
lock and ignore the mob for next 5 min but Ill guess the API doesn't support
this).

Level Range : 50-60
Mobs to hunt : Scarlet* (All kind of them)
Mobs to avoid : None in this area.
Repair Npc :
<Vendor Name="Craftsman Wilhelm" Entry="16376" Type="Repair" X="2261.174" Y="-5321.298" Z="81.86614" />
Selling Support : Gray, Green, Blue.
Protected Items : Heavy Lockboxes(Thoose should be mailed)
Mailing support : Yes
Purpose of the profile : Farming Heavy Lockboxes.
Nearest City/town : Light hope chapel
Which faction to support : 67

I've been trying too do all this myself but without success, so now Ill hope
some of you can fix this instead. :-)

Ps. Reason I made a new thread for Tyr's Hand is because the other was a failthread. :rolleyes:

i too have been trying to make my own profile/mesh for this, but as its the first time i've tried, its taking me awhile to learn how. Would love to learn on something simpler, and get some help with this one. Last faction needed for insane title. :))
 
Stabby Stabby will pick the locks for you, but it wont make the mesh and profile. Learn how to make meshes and profiles (just read the tutorials - it explains everything)... I promise it will take you only 15 minutes which is much better than waiting for days ~ possibly never ~ for someone to make it for you.
 
Finished editing the mesh/profile for you :)

It's not tested yet, but it should work.

As for the "ignore all mobs" part, you can do that by removing the "factions" and replacing them with any bogus number, something like this :

<Factions>999999</Factions>

It will then proceed to the hotspots, without pulling mobs, but it will defend itself :)

Tell me if it works well :)

i dl'ed 'stabby stabby' and it gave me a file: 'rogue.cs'. where do i place this file? in the 'plug-ins' folder? or the 'custom classes' folder?

It does run in a correct path, now I just wonder why it aint target any mobs? Do you know?

That's IF he had the factions as i mentioned, but he has the correct faction ID (afaik)
will take a look at it in some.
 
the profile by ZoOoOoM works - its just that it only pickpocket lockboxes (stabby stabby) - Not the humanoids.

as it should work:
1.pick pocket target.
2.kill target

repeat and repeat - if you dont kill the mobs - you wont be able to farm them cause, you cant pickpocket them twice..

Aight. I'll walk you through what i did, and you can tell me what i did wrong, cause i can only get my toon to path. he doesnt target/pickpocket/kill.

1: DL'ed honorbuddy.
2: Dl'ed stabbey stabbey
3: Put Stabbey Stabbey in Custom Classes folder of honorbuddy.
4: Start Wow
5: Start HB
6: Load mesh
7: Load profile.
8: Start HB.

The mesh is correct. he runs a beautifull path. but never targets mobs. If i target it, it will pickpocket/kill. I've checked faction info, and tried both the correct faction id, as well as a made up number. Same result.

Also: is stabbey stabbey something i should see options for? i dl'ed it, and put the file in the CC folder, but dont see anything to do with it after that.

I think there is some confusion here because codex misinformed people about what he is after. He is after the "Heavy Junkboxes" not the "Heavy Lockboxes." The Lockboxes are just lying around on the ground and this profile and cc config work great for them. What we need is a rogue CC that targest the mobs in stealth, engages and pick pockets them to obtain the "Heavy Junkboxes" which are what are actually required for the Insane Title quest. I am not versed enough in CC creation to do this myself though I plan on taking a look at it.

Hopefully this clears up the confusion.

edit: Okay, the confusion it appears was as much on my end as anyone elses. Stabby Stabby with ZoOoOoOom's profile and mesh should work. However, it will NOT work because there is a bug with HB itself which will not allow players to engage elite mobs and all the mobs needed in Tyr's hand are elites. So, until this gets resolved it just won't work. The Dev release of HB supposedly address this issue but only with party's in instances, not sure if that translates into being able to solo them outside of instances if you're in a party or not, but it doesn't appear so, at least with this profile and mesh.

So this is an issue we cant resolve until the HB client is updated? is there a time frame for that?
 
hope for a new update, my rogue is wating ;-)
 
Has this been fixed, a few releases have come out since?

for me stabby stabby just range pulls, how do u get it to pickpocket?
 
You need to use stabby stabby and edit the cs file. Change the ranged pull to false, and change the stealth pull to true. It works fine when this place isn't being farmed to hell by other rogues. Especially low level who just pick pocket and don't kill.
