TUTORIAL - Creating your own private profiles: the easy way.

Ok amazing plugin!

Does as advertised! However my farming need is embersilk, so I must actually kill the mobs for the mats. I cannot for the life of me get the thing to kill mobs. How do I do this?
 
Use Grindbot not Gatherbuddy for that BIGBRO. The grindbot profiles are a little different than Gatherbuddy profiles.
 
Yes I found the issue, I did have it set to Grindbot.

It is working flawlessly will a bit of addition of coding to my XML. Shout out to Kick's cause it was his profile that I compared it to, to find the flaw and added the proper coding as follows:

Is what I added from Kick's profile (minus the coordinates, those are all mine that I recorded with ZapRecorder) and now its running great! :D
 
Thanks for the Routes plugin and GatherMate idea, I just made a Deepsea Sagefish profile. Wish Highland Guppies would import from GatherMate2 but i dont know why they dont.

What I like about using the ZapRecorder to record my hotspots (vs the Routesbuddy plugin that I had seen in another thread awhile back) is that when I fly, it records the height on each hotspot as I fly and I can customize the route as I want to.

Great tutorial and great plugin! +rep to both!
 
i have a problem when create a profile,....
i just create a route and kill mobs along the route to get my GRIND

the profile was to grind mobs only, allow me farm (like cloth).
So when i save it, i was done all the way and kill mobs.

After save and try load that profile:
he's goes along the way,... but he dont see/detect mobs,...
result,.. he does all the way, but die becouse dont kill mobs.
 
help plz

i download the empty profile and loaded it started the bot then opened the plugin and hit start record i get as soon as i hit start record honorbuddy has encountere a problem we are sorry for the incoveience please be sure a sound file exists at the specified location what am i doing wround??

Edit: When I click Add Vendor it says I don't have a target. I disabled all add ons it still says I don't have a target.

You clicked on the Vendor then hit Add Vendor?

After some work,... I found what is needed:
I need put the correct faction to allow him, find Mobs (from the faction Wanted) and kill.
 
I have a problem, I Was Able to Understand and create profiles for mining and herbalism, but I can not create profiles of skinning, I can create the path That Should do the character, but what sets to Make Certain Should you are looking for long-mobb the pre-trip and kill Them Skinn for later? thx
 
Hi. First of all I'd like to say you did an awesome job on writing this guide. So did the author of the Zaprecorder by creating that plugin btw! I would like to start working on my own fishing profiles. Fishing in some places requires proper stationary positioning of your character in order to be able to reach the pools. In Uldum for example; how do I implement the places/spots where my character should stand in order to be able to reach the pools properly at the south coast line (Left and right from the Delta). I mentioned these spots at the south coast of uldum but actually I'm not sure how to add these stationary spots for fishing anywhere :p. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks :)!
 
when i'm recording my own profile do i actually have to pick nodes while recording or just fly the route i want and when i turn on the bot to repeat the route it will then grab everything in the path i just laid out? first attempted making a profile.

you can just run over.
when u run the bot he'll grab stuff
