Turning Loot Off

I remember hearing somewhere that turning loot corpses off increases the chances of you getting banned. Probably heard it a long time ago on the Glider forums. What do yall think of this?

normal players are looting mobs
so with loot off its a little bit wierd

imo
with all the super addons and plugins, mailing, selling, liq, etc.
why would you not loot? its all cash in the bag.
