TuanHA Warrior - The Ultimate Experience

Testing a bit, FU2 uses Heroic Strike more often resulting in better use of rage and higher dps. Tuan's often pools rage too much too cap and lacks use of HS.
Conserving rage is probably a good thing as a tank, but not so good when maximizing dps or as gladiator. Maybe Tuanha could add an option under advanced settings to use heroic strike when rage above __ like he has with shield slam.

I agree, that sounds like a good fix. FU2 is almost rage starved it uses HS so often.

Edit, I think its an issue with Unyielding strikes. I think it waits for the 6 stack but then doesnt use HS.

The premium routine seems to be cancelling bladestorm to do some cc/interrupts. is there a way to lock this from happening?

Yea I don't know if my idea would actually work, it was just a thought, but hopefully Tuanha can work something out for better glad stance damage. I just did a dungeon with it and it did decent. I finished at 18k overall dps, well above anyone else, but I manually use heroic strike a lot when my rage was getting high.

Hi guys,

Thank for the bug report and suggestion.

I've just change the logic on Prot warrior to fix the Cap Rage issue.

Normally, warrior need to pool rage to use Shield Block whenever he need it.

But as Gladiator Stance warrior, Shield Block replace by Shield Charge that cost only 20 rage instead of 60 so Heroic Strike will now start use at 50 rage or on buff/proc.

I've also fix a few internal logic as Prot in Gladiator Stance should consider as a DPS not a Tank.

Please update to version 6.0.5444 and let me know.

Thank you.

Thanks! does anyone got a "build for the glad stance" like your options you got enabled etc. thanks! :)

I just turn off autotarget, set burst to on cooldown, and set interrupt to all. Seems to work well. My dps has gone up about 4k since the update.

I'll post my build once I get home.

The new cr is awesome, thanks Tuan. Still pools rage, possibly slightly too much, and I've tried with and without rage glyph. Its now using slam on or close to cd and heroic strike more often.

Also did you do something with devastate? It's now higher on my dmg done.

It's still not putting out the numbers that fu2 is pushing on a dummy but I'll try it on some heroics tonight.

Lastly, what do you guys run your "slam" rage amount too? Stock is 50, possibly too high for pve?

I have my burst set too never. Will use dragon roar and the lvl 90 bleed (can't remember the name, something blood?) On cd and won't wait, I yield a much higher dps then when set to "on cooldown"

Spaaaam, sorry.

Just wanted to remind people after the nerf the other day to warriors, unyielding strikes is now a dps increase. Just want to make sure that the logic to use this correctly in the cr is legit?

Thanks.

Ah good to know, I just assumed with it set to on cooldown it would use the burst abilities on cooldown lol

It does but it also seems like it tries to line bloodbath up with roar. Not sure if that's intended.

I'll test again when I get home but afaik I've set everything to on cool down and deselect burst for individual abilities. Then set bust as never. Works for me but I'll dbl check

I don't deselect any abilities, I just set on cooldown and it uses the big abilities as soon as they pop. Seems pretty good.

To answer my own question: "Bloodbath should be used as often as possible, but you should make sure to align with Dragon Roar, and you should save up around 70 Rage before using it."

Is this correct?

What is the purpose of using both at the same time? They don't seem dependent upon one another.
