I also 've noticed that PVP healing is very mana intensive. I can assume that the reasons can be the following, but I may be wrong:
1) If I have Auto Earth Shield up, then cast it on myself when I predict a swap on me, CR always recasts it on my teammate, and I have to hard-cast it again on me and so on. Too many unnececcary Earth Shields in this case;
2) CR casts a lot of Auto-purges, if this option is On;
3) CR casts Riptides to every party member and me on CD below 90% Hp (my settings);
I also turned off Auto-Buff (Water Shield and Weapon Buffs) and Auto Water Walking On or CR casts it even in mid-fight when enemies are on me and every GCD is important ( this cannot cause mana problems I think, but nevertheless i do not like this behaviour in PVP ).
If I have these settings I'm not getting OOM extremely fast, also I use Ghost Wolf to prevent any auto casts ( I have Auto Ghost Wolf Out in Off mode).

Are you sure coz I didn't touch a single line of code on dps rotation.

at boss fights it casts elemental blast 1 maybe 2 times but it seems to prioritize lightning bolt over elemental blast.

I've made change on PvP that will use less mana

But the MOST mana consuming spell for Shaman is Purge, if you run out of mana too fast, just disable it or set only auto purge if mana about 90%

elemental isnt casting lightning bolt while moving using pvp settings if it wants to hard cast lava burst or elemental blast

I've tried resto in 2v2 arena today, 1950-2k MMR, affli-rsham. Long games till 50%-80% Dampening, didn't notice serious mana problems except usual OOming if feral is sitting on me (resto) from the beginning of arena till the very end

something wrong returned to shaman resto into 25 hc. month ago i easy topped the fight. now with almost unchanged settings got raped at 575 ilvl even with disco priest ..... it use too much riptide (glyphed) even if i set it to use at 60 % . also is there a possible to make it riptide blanketing ? like in your pala routine and to cast riptide on move when i cancel cast other heal by moving around

Revise code on Rest Behavior. Now it will use Healing Surge to heal instead of eating if you have enough mana.
Fix Burst activate without combat.

I raid 25HC SOO. I want manually to cast healrain at the designated place especially at Thok the Bloodthirsty, but I dont want to pause CC, If I want to manually cast healrain always interrupted to cast another skills. how can I do?

Add option Chain Lightning on x Stack of Maelstrom Weapon on Enhancement Spec, recommended set to 5 in PvP because we need to stack Maelstrom Weapon on instant Hex or Healing Surge
Revise code on Rest Behavior. Now it will use Healing Surge to heal instead of eating if you have enough mana.
Fix Burst activate without combat.

I advise you can add detection of manual casting function , when detecting manual casting then the cc stop casting until manual casting end.
