One more thing... the Heroic Dungeons are a lot more difficult than the Proving Grounds. Shouldn't the dungeons currently be the standard for setting up this routine? There is a lot of movement in the Heroic Dungeons whereas you can just stand there in the Proving Grounds.

I used the new settings on Endless.. was completely out of mana on wave 5, lol.

Tuanha this is my third time posting about the same problem with prot, it puts sacred shield on party members even when its not selected in the options, please give us some love because who cares about holy paladins :)
 
Provin' ground - Gold , 1st try. 621 ilvl, finished with wave 5 only (
Loading prov ground settings.
 
ARGH. my holy paladin doesnt do shi anymore in dungeon. just casts stuff very randomly and slowly
 
Tuanha : For Special Edition users. Could you create a private access to share our experience / settings ?
I'm sure there is a lot of people who will help each others.
Example : I'm good with PVE settings but shit with Pvp settings. And ppl who rocks in PVP could like to have Pve help !
I will test new version tonight. Can't wait :D
 
Good evening. There is a problem with the bot when my character while mounted, it does not work and does not get in the queue to BG

If you turn off the mount, the bot immediately gets into the queue.
With standard rutline no problem.

Was skirmishing 2x2 with Holy + BM/MM Hunter. New Heal Logic works insane <3
 
Dont know if the Ret is fine because my guildie who is playing without bot and with 624ilvl pulling more dps on dungeons than me with 634ilvl. On aoe trash he did about 3-5k more and singletarget about 2k. We both are Ret paladins with exact same talents. Might be my settings but i doubt that.

Might be helpful to give out some dps numbers then. I'm never below #2 on dps in hc's on single OR aoe trash. Single on boss' I'm around 20k dps atm. ilvl 632

The only thing i've found is that its a bit slow to keep up both seal buffs with empowered seals talent.
 
Hey guys. What's your current feedback on ret? Is tuanha's cr doing good? I mean, is it using procs correctly, is it weaving fv/ds well on multiple targets, is it using hammer of the righteous and ds/eds on the correct number of mobs, etc...?

Am I going insane or is there no option to heal for Holy Shock in the holy spec options? Can't see it anywhere except to use as an attack.

That's not very kind of you, is it? Treat others with decency, you have no ideia what's going on with their lives and you have absolutely no reason not to be nice to a person who didn't harm you at all.

Well, I've been reading the thread for days now. The last decent post about ret pasted the entire rotation Solsacra proposed on his thread @ mmo-champion. No specific answer was given to that post, but the rotation has been updated since. Also, nobody ever mentioned if it's supporting SW, HA and DP or if it's supporting EmpS, FV and Seraph.

I'll give you a quick rundown of ret's discussion, ok?

It sucked. It didn't work at all, since it never used EDS procs. I came to the forums to read. This was 8 days ago. I then saw more people with the same problem and the post I talked about that mentioned the (at the time) best priority order:

I filtered out some posts complaning about PvP and the support aspect of ret in it, because I believe the logic for that to be even more complicated and I'm not pvping atm.

So holynorth, darling, I've been reading the thread. And as you can see, my question wasn't answered in the past 8 days. And before that ret's rotation was just non existant. "Ret's doing fine" and "omg I'm doing so much damage with ret" are statements that do not answer my question. I don't want to know if it's doing well, fine, damage is OK, etc. I want to know if the rotation order and logic used are the correct ones, not if "damage is ok". And I'm also well aware that I could run tests myself, so I've been doing that. I was just seeking feedback from other people to check if my results would match theirs.

So, please, don't "how about you read the thread" me, son. Manner up.


PS: Just to make things clear, I'm not criticizing Tuanha at all. I know he has a lot of work to go through with WoD's release. His work is one of the best here and I've always been impressed by it. I'm not demanding or asking for anything from him, I was just asking about the current state of the CR ret-wise.
