My settings really don't effect my DPS since I still spam blackout kick manually as well. Although I can tell you, I have not updated my SVN since the patch.

I also have full Heroic BiS from last tier. Untitled.webp

This is intended :D

In previous build, I've made tank do a lot of damage but low survivability.

But the true tank do not care about dps so it redesigned as to spent chi on keeping aggro and to survive rather than dps.

Well, no one blame if tank dps is low, they only blame if you get 1 shot by boss so it OK xD

@zeldrak: i'm analyzing your log man. It hard that it doesn't happen to me yet.

The survivability was fine in the last build. Damage for the monk actually increases raid survivability. I honestly would change it back to how it was.

There is any config to save mana? as Mistweaver?
I'm going great, but my mana always ends soon...

Wouldn't mind seeing it added back in since it doesn't cost energy/mana anymore - obviously people can choose whether or not to check the box. Along with that, any way to add a use Chi Wave on cooldown option for WW? I tried just setting the health threshold to 100 and testing on a dummy, but doesn't appear to cast it. (To clarify I want to test it being part of a dps rotation)
 
skipping

Having a problem on my 47 mistweaver. While using lazyraider i am geting alot of skipping. my fps are not droping, but lots of studdering. i have proper lazy settings. singular is not skipping. Hope you can help. also i have jab set to 5, but he never jabs past 1 or 2. Any reason? Also my friend is using windwalker and he is also geting the skipping.

i have done it with proper lazy settings. i was just trying different things

Brewmaster damage intake gets better the better the gear you have.

It also depends on your Stat choices. I recommend reading MMO-Champion.com Monk Tanking thread. (KNOWING YOUR CLASS)

You can acutally heal pets now, you just have to select them manually for it to work OR the best way is to set them on focus. I had hunters make their pet tank before since it was taking waaaaay to long to find another tank, done the whole dungeon like that with no problems at all.

Mistweaver will heal pet automatically in Arena (it just a waste of time keep pet up in bg/raid/dungeon)

However, if you want to heal it then target/focus the pet.

2/10/13 Revision is all I can tell you right now, because the US servers are down currently.

If you use that revision WindWalker will be broke and so will Mistweaver, because it wasn't updated for the current patch. I will test the newest revision sometime tonight.

Question for the MistWeavers out there. I started to play around with the Channeling and FistWeaving last night (will do it again to night) and notice that you can do some crazy healing while you Channel. I really think I am doing more with channeling then I am doing with FistWeaving. Anyone else trying both and getting good numbers? 25 man runs and always over 60hps (but not always with Fistweaving)
 
Just a quick suggestion for any MW looking to increase their numbers: lower the threshold on the "RM all when mana above XX" option. Like, to 5% mana. Most of our healing comes from RM (unless you're doing a 5-man or something and can heal 100% with eminence) and it needs to be cast on cooldown, every cooldown, even if no damage is going out. Why? With the level 30 talents no longer costing chi, Uplift is pretty much the only place to spend chi outside of fistweaving, which you should only be doing with your muscle memory proc anyway. With an 8 second cooldown and the time it takes to spread, there's no way you can get it out fast enough with a reactive response to respond to incoming damage, especially AoE damage in a raid. Proactive RM is the answer, and it also is a guaranteed chi every 8 seconds, so you should have plenty to uplift when damage actually goes out. Changing that 1 setting fixes this, and you should see more healing done as well since RM is out all the time.


Side note, I tanked the adds for LFR windlord yesterday in ilvl 475 gear and did 300k dps. I lol'd.
 
Hey guys which User Settings do you think seem to work best for Throne of Thunder 10 man. I tried the mosouri fist-weaving one but it seems to drop way too much health orbs and go oom pretty quickly especially on Horridon and Council. Maybe I should remove the orb thing all together? Please let me know thanks!
