MM dps seems low in arena with this last update

Anyone know how to setup This Routine Perfect for Pve Raid? My Hunter 573 - Dps 280-340k Is very low for this gear...

Simcraft told me 380k should go with this gear..

I sorta have the same problem with my 577 hunter. Some of the changes I make to the default raid settings include:
1) turning off auto-deterrence and auto-feign death (as those are useful to do manually). Also turn off auto-eat. Not sure why that would be a default option.
2) put burst on cooldown - not cooldown (boss) (though this may not be preferred, just felt it was skipping a lot of good spells when I switched to adds)
3) add Engineering profession proc to burst
4) make sure use explosive trap for dps and ice trap to proc lock and load are checked. However, I've noticed in raiding it never shoots ice trap automatically. It will on a test dummy but not in a raid. Maybe that's because in a raid you've got all the other buffs up so important spells like explosive shot trigger before the CR can get to ice trap - I dunno. Maybe it's because of our high ilvl. I've even switched on shoot ice trap at enemy group within 30 yards but that doesn't do it.) Additionally, I've found it is good but not great at keeping black arrow up on a boss. So that means if black arrow falls off for awhile and you're not tossing ice traps, you won't get lock and load as much as you should - that's a big DPS loss right there. So I try to manually hit black arrow on cooldown.
5) I've experimented with "turn off auto-aoe" when I've wanted to focus more on boss damage (like on heroic garrosh). Sorta unclear to me how much of a difference that makes. I wish you could bind that command to a key so you could do it in battle - Tuan, would that be possible?
6) I sort of wish you could put burst on demand but that doesn't seem to be an option. Would be handy on the interphase realms on heroic garrosh where my damage usually sucks as sv.
7) I bind binding shot and ice trap to keys so I can try to CC or proc load & load manually.

Hope that helps! If you find any other good tips, let me know. Seems most folks on here are excited about PvP but I use this exclusively for raiding.

After last update, It seems that im a lot of time out of power to cast important skills Like Chimera Shot, and Glaives ... I think thats why DPS went down a bit... (PvP)

Also it seems that the glaives are at a hight Prio than Chimera ... Think Chimera should have the highest Prio. (PvP)

I can't find the SVN code inside the folder.

Also, I'm having an issue where the routine will constantly look backwards & forwards when another target is close, thus interrupting whatever skill is being cast, e.g. i'm attacking boss & some trash is near it will keep on looking between them but not switch target. Very annoying.

Seems like this Routine won't work with BGBuddy with the "Full AFK" settings. Bot goes into Melee the whole time. Looks really strange.

Thats not the routine, thats bgbuddy. It won't distinct casters, healers or dps from each other. It will always try and kill someone from melee >.<

LazyRaider, Combat bot, Raidbot or Tyrael. For all those you have to move though.

make sure you don't have plugin like Glue or Ultimate PvP Suit... these plugin serve for Melee and keep in range

In AFK, my Hunter never get to melee range, it stop moving closer when target within 30 yard.

Hi Krytosx.

In arena, you need use Tyrael that make hunter auto use all rotation, drop trap... and you must control movement.

For advance PvP, you might want to use a few more important cooldown on manual like Disengage, Deterrence, Roar of Sac

My friend is now secure in Gladiator bracket so I think in the hand of a good player, this CR is competitive.

Improve Auto Focus after HB API Auto Focus change.

Is this for BG only or also in PvE environment? I just did Sha of Pride and it strongly suggest the last one. If so, is ther a possibility to disable this because it's rather annoying when the CR keeps on switching to the boss during add phase.

Thought I must admit, an option to disable it in dungeons/raids without having to disable auto target would be welcome.

As long as I see, hunter do not need arcane shot at all if all other spell is available.

In PvE MM never need arcane shot because they can just Aimed Shot instead.

Another factor that reduce greatly arcane shot is if you enable serpent sting multi dot, it will serpent still all unit around you and there is not enough focus for arcane shot.

With Talent Thrill of the Hunter, hunter also do not need to use all the proc because if you use it on Arcane Shot, there's not enough focus for key spell like Kill Command, Explosive Shot, Chimera Shot, Glaives Toss, Barrage, Powershot... and you end up doing LESS dps by spamming Arcane Shot.

And btw, me and many user test hunter cr and the result close or better than simcraft, that mean the dps rotation is decent and why we need to worry about arcane shot then?

hunter CR is more than fine with brain settings and some adjust here and there its a beast thank ou taun for the hard work this make me happy to play ith HB and reach higher scores .<3
