TuanHA Death Knight- The Ultimate Experience

The "burst mode" hotkey seems very flaky. What exactly do the numbers next to the burst abilities represent? I set burst on Ctrl+1 and set each ability "on burst mode". On a dummy, when I press the key it pops pof, trinket, erw and says Burst mode ON, then burst mode OFF after its done casting its burst. In PVP/BG if I press my burst key it doesn't use anything and just says burst mode ON then immediately burst mode OFF. If I set it to "my enemy hp below" and a threshold of say 70, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

Can hotkey for burstmode be made without a modifier needed (ex. num1, num2, etc). I bind num key to my mouse and would like to just press it to activate without having to ctrl. I don't have good logs (i know bad) for this. Maybe just tell me what the numbers next to the abilities represent and I will play with it and submit proper logs.

edit: Also needs a setting to disable COI, it uses it way to much and id rather manual control it. Death pact works fine,
Burst mode activate on your condition of choice (ie: on enemy below, on control + 1....), it last 15 second before turning off automatically. For that 15 second, it activate all cooldown that set to use "on burst mode"

The reason why it work fine in PvE and "flaky" is because Combat Routine is trying to activate it on smarter way. It's pointless to activate when you get Crowd Controlled so when you get Hammer of Justice for example, it auto turn Burst Mode off... you can't kill anyone while you're not in control your character and the Burst during a stun it's a waste, combat routine disable it automatically for you.

It's just best to use Control + Key for burst mode, that to prevent people activate it by accident while chatting. If you are in raid and someone tell "Who need summon type 1", you type 1 and activate burst mode is event more stupid xD

I was up tanking dungeons until about 2 am (EST), and I noticed that even after two SVN updates this was still staying RP capped. It also seemed as though it wasn't really using a lot of skills. I rarely saw blood boil being used, it wasn't taunting (even though the option was selected), it didn't seem to keep diseases up, and my toon seemed to auto attack a majority of the time. It was hard to keep aggro/threat while using this in dungeons.

Keep in mind that my DK is only level 88, so that could be the reason why it's not working as well as it should be. I also don't know if I have the right build for what talents it supports. Same with glyphs, I don't know if I'm glyphed for what it supports. The options I use are whatever is by clicking the 'Dungeon' preset button. I did notice that Death Strike was set to 100%, but it seemed to be used less than it should have been. In the end I had to switch to CLU for tanking, and then I went to bed from exhaustion.

Edit: I read through the log and I saw that Death Strike was listed several times, so I retract my observation of it not being used in fights. I don't know why it was having a hard time keeping aggro. I had to manually use Dark Command on every CD, as well as Death Grip. I saw a couple of errors in the log during fights, too, but I'm not sure what they were from. There's a plugin I need to get rid of because it's putting errors in the log, and that's Pokebuddy.

The reason combat routine don't use Rune Strike and the Runic Power cap for so long it's because there's better spell to do.

Blood DK Tanking prefer Death Strike, Hard Strike, Blood Boil... over Rune Strike because these spell simple better at healing, do more dps and build threat.

Rune Strike is the lowest priority for Blood DK in MoP, it's just a filler when there's nothing else to do, don't worry if it stay at 100% for a long time.

Combat Routine don't design to attack your party/raid member, please kick him out of the raid before dueling.

If he's not in the raid and combat routine don't interrupt him, please give me a log, there some missing spell in interrupt list I guess.
 
A DK CC from tuanha.... Merry Xmas... *Fingers Crossed* for priest next..

I think he should just stick to the ones he has atm before making anymore because he will start getting confused and muddled up with too many profiles to keep updating

If honorbuddy would stop breaking shit every release he could look after all his cc's much easier.

As Blood, Rune Strike is how the T5 talents are used. If you're not using rune strike to dump RP, you are shorting yourself runes.

wouldn't designating it has numpad be different then simply 1. I cant think of anyone that uses numpad to chat. If burstmode is activated on keypress, what do the numbers represent next to the abilities/burst?
 
Iv been doing some testing and i have tested all bot bases pretty much and the best ones are raid bot and lazy raider (raidbot like disbale all frills) but the thing is that it makes my pc slower but it really does make the cc alot faster!
 
I'm using this CR to level me a DK atm. I set Death Syphon to 100% so it always uses it when there is a deathrune. Death Syphon is totally overpowered at lower levels :D 2x Death Syphon and nearly every mob is dead. But I guess it becomes less awesome at higher levels :(

I haven't had any CR-related problems/bugs so far!

is it fast for you? or is it kind of slow when using abiltities? for me it seems quite slow :/
 
Great release, i'm looking forward to test this! Will there be a SpecialEdition/DonatorEdition? and when? I know it's all new still and that you are constantly updating it.
 
Special Edition will be available next 2 week because Monk and Paladin need a lot of attention and new year festival xD

Yeah, I do think rune strike should be higher priority.

One additional note, you might also consider a range check on the target when dumping RP. If you are in melee it should use Rune Strike, but at range you can use Death Coil to dump RP and still gain the benefits of the T5 talents.

For Blood, I believe Death Siphon becomes better than Death strike above a certain Attack Power value. I'm not sure what that value is off hand, but I remember seeing it listed on Elitist Jerks somewhere. Might be something to consider for Blood if that value is easily surpassed while tanking (I can get over 100k Attack Power on several boss encounters).

The down side to it of course being that this style of rotation would severely devalue mastery for Blood tanking. As such, a balance may need to be found. For instance, only Death Siphon if you already have an active blood shield.
